@FilipinoBreakdancer Same here but i figured it out. You are probably turning the back side wrong. B' is turning it inverted when you face the back side. if you don't understand, just rotate the back side opposite of what you normally do.

What are you guys on about? I just did it myself. The 'cube in a cube in a cube' and 'cube in a cube' Algs both work. Not sure about the corner twisting, as I didn't use it. For the 5x5x5 i just did the 'cube in a cube in a cube' alg twice, and on the second time, turn 2 layers rather than just one.

The letter itself is a clockwise rotation, seen from that side. (B, for example, is "rotate the back side clockwise, but looking at the back side")

prime (') is anticlockwise. (D', for example, is "rotate the down side anticlockwise, but looking at the down side)

2 is two times.

@thejudu88 Well, you "select" what will be the front face, the up face, etc. so the algorithm do the right thing. There's no "front face must be red" or "back face must be blue", it's a sequence of moves that does something to the cube.

Search for the video "Rubiks Cube Notation- how it works". It explains everything about notation.

@WattoRulezDaWorld Hi. What Kenneth means is that 2 layers deep would represent one layer on a regular 3x3. So the center slices would be the center slices on a 3x3, too. So when the algorithm says "F", it means to turn the front 2 faces clockwise.

@Hunterseow1 M/E=Middle, U=Top/Up, L=Left, D=Bottom/Down, R=Right, F=Front, B=Back. all of these are turned Clockwise. Anything with a ' at the end of it is "Prime" or "Inverted" that means turn it counterclockwise. oh yeah, and (you dont usually see this but...) X= turn the entire cube away from you, Y= turn the entire cube to the Right, again those can be primed.

Another way to do this is to do the flower pattern, and then do a 2 move setup, and then a 3-edge cycle and undo the setup, and repeat on the other side, with the opposite direction edge cycle. And then to get the last corners right, you can do any 2 corner twisting algorithm. It's probably not as fast but it's an alternative for those who already know those algorithms and don't want to memorize another one. Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone interested.
