if u wanna get a tan properly, put on sunlotion 20 mins be4 u get into the sun.

Like an athlete u need to build up slowly the time u spend in the sun to get the tan, so u get none of the red skin nastiness.

Wrong time of year for this advice but..worth remembering when summer comes round again. :-)

By the way. Suncream is ridiculous and is what really causes cancer in peoples skin. The chemicals that get absorbed into your skin is deadly and given enough cream and exposure will help generate cancer in your exposed skin over the years. Deadly deadly chemicals. If you can't eat it...don't put it on your skin because it gets absorbed into the skin. If you were to eat a cup of sun tan lotion you'd probably die. Just FYI!

Totally agree, i've never sunbathed. I just go red then white again anyway. And i always cover up. People always insult my skin, but wait till 40 years time when they have skin like leather. Unless they've died of skin cancer first.
