  • 3.00 beautiful light

  • Your video is not in hd on here.

  • @Ibringthetruth1 It was uploaded before youtube had HD

  • @ImmersionImagery

    could re upload it then.

  • @ImmersionImagery re upload it then

  • Reminds me of my youth when I visited these very places... MUST know the name of this song/artist! Please?!

  • @StorytellerRecords Song is: Khumjung

    By Ben Leinbach

  • I loved the music :)

  • damn if only this had been in high resolution I'd love it a quadrilion times more and i already love it a lot

  • what is the name of the song used in the video?

  • excuse me, this is really the z7? it has some other lense?

  • can you record on cards in hd at the same time you record hd on mini dv

  • @missdreamgurl Yes you can record on the Compact Flash while recording to tape both in SD and HD. I recently bought the canon 550D and have just done a bunch of ads with both cameras and sadly i would have to say if you are happy to shoot up to 12min get the 5D mark 2, 7D or 550D. The canon really out preformed the Z7 in colour, dynamic range and overall quality, also it is about $4000 cheaper.

  • nice!

  • gloooomyyy..........

  • that is a spectacular camera! im gonna save up for one now!

  • I totally agree with you on that, there is just not much you can do about it. As this is the dawn of high-quality assessable media I think you just have to accept that thing are constantly changing and whatever you buy will be obsolete within minutes. As film maker we are lucky that we have access to cheap high-quality media that you can edit from home and gone are the days of large budgets for film stock, processing, editing labs and so on...

  • @ImmersionImagery That is the very reason why we get so much shit broadcast now. The cost of professional broadcast equipment has been slashed meaning that anyone can set up a production company for a lot less than they used to. Subsequently producing garbage for the masses to endure.

  • @airscrew1 The reason we are getting "shit broadcast" is because the broadcast networks are not getting the advertising spots filled like they use to (before internet advertising) & thus have a smaller budget to finance content. Just because anyone can set up a production company does not mean that a client is willing to pay for crap. If you think that the reason you are watching garbage on TV is because of young filmmakers & cheaper gear then change the channel or turn your TV off.

  • @ImmersionImagery I have turned off. I no longer pay for a tv licence so watch nothing but DVD's. Also could it be that the reason advertisers have given up with TV is because of the very reasons I mentioned? If other people are turning off as well as me then the adverts don't reach their targets. I see many people on here using expensive cameras and all they film is "test shots" I know my stuff isn't much better but it was done on cheap cameras.

  • @airscrew1 I would have to agree that most content on commercial TV does suck, & I would have to say that I too watch more DVDs then TV. The Commercial networks can die a slow death for all I care, in Australia they do not support Australian content & as there is a law that says there has to be a certain amount of Aust content they play silly reality TV shows with Australians to make up the hours. It is cheaper to advertise on the net & for the price you can reach a greater target market.

  • @ImmersionImagery Also, the expensive 16mm film that you mention was a good way of deterring wannabe film makers. When one shoots on film, one is far more cautious about the subject because there is no room to correct mistakes. That's why we have too many photographers now. They can't really go wrong if they shoot 400 pics at a wedding and know they will get some that are saleable. They couldn't do that with film, but I could.

  • @airscrew1 Films shot on 16mm are the low budget films, I know what you are saying, if a studio backs your film & gives you 35mm then you would think that there would be less takes. The most famous film director of all time Orson Welles making Citizen Kane "One day shot a hundred takes and exposed 10000 feet–without a single print!".. & that wannabe filmmaker made a classic masterpiece..

  • @ImmersionImagery Yes point taken, but I still say that the market is now flooded with cameras, both still and video digital that brings out a lot of amateurs calling themselves professional. Also whilst many of these cameras have excellent picture quality, their lifespan is very short either because of continuous upgrading or equipment failure and expensive repairs. I've had a couple of cheapo camcorders and they produced good results but were very flimsy plastic.

  • @airscrew1 I would agree with you. I have a Panasonic SDR-H85 which is a comsumer camera. What I really wanted was either a semi-pro cam like that or get a Sony HDRXR550V. I know my stuff and I get the scenes and how to make them. But as everything gets cheaper, some are running around with the Sony NEXVG10 but they are probably using the AUTO MODE. What you run around with generally describes the experience you have which I find obsured. Even the pros can use my cam and make something epic

  • Can you put on a large capacity battery while still using a flash memory recording unit?

  • Yes you can put on a large capacity battery while still using the flash memory unit.. However I would recommend getting a legitimate Sony battery as the cheaper Chinese battery for some reason do not charge on the newer chargers.

  • Hello, I very much enjoyed the video. This was featured on inditalk's website :D

  • very beautifull.....nicely shot

  • Excellent piece of work. Buying one this weekend. Shame I can't buy your camera skills as well!!

  • Really good. Beautiful.

  • Comparing this to the Panasonic HVX 200 /201, not sure which to get yet. Thanks for posting.

  • holy shit wow ur PROFFESSONAL

  • Beautiful. I'm shooting my next short on a Z7, I hope I can get footage half as good as this.

  • Nicely done!!!

  • Awesome! jus love it..

  • hey cud u tell me how u captured this footage? i just got a z7 and im not sure if i need to buy an overpriced tapedeck or if i can capture straight off the camera into an editing program! thanks

  • You should be able to capture using the Camera as a deck. I do that when I capture from a Sony Z1, works perfectly.

  • No man, you don;t want to capture from your $6,000 camera. Just buy a inexpensice canon HV-20. On VTR mode, all cameras and decks reproduce the same quality.

  • Try The Photographer Flash near You and make a slow motion se what kind of bad line horizontal goas, ""its 3 simos,""" CCD is better.

The video you made its perfect, but i think you can make with any camera,

  • very,VERY, nice.......

  • Just amazing

  • great vid of the highlands

  • hi, you wrote this video has been recorded by Z7, on 1080i, but it is supposed to be at 1080p, isn't it?

I'd like to know it cause I already have the Z1E and I want to buy th Z7 to use them together but I am afraid to have problems linked to prgressive and interlaced....I edit on final cut pro...any idea?

  • great video, reminds me of that baraka movie.

Z7P seems to get some really nice images
