Check out the book The Blackiest Bird, Edgar is a character in the book, with Virginia (his cousin). The police suspect Edgar of murder, because they think he murdered a woman that he loved. It explains what he was like as a person and the character in the book.

There is a Masters of horror episode about Poe as well.

I am not gonna lie. Im listenin to this all the time. I love it, its good and creative. Good job man. I do agree it could be louder though, especially in the beginning of the last stanza which is my favorite part but the voice is too low and the guitar is too loud.
