It seems that there are some good bigger bands out there. Just not in the fucking U.S. It seems we're all about the "core" shit and Jonas Brothers. Maybe we'll get an aussie invasion ha.
I should probably say that this is the old version, the new version is all sophisticated and enhanced and whatnot, but in a good way (Garth: but we fear change). I hope everyone is enjoying Soho in the US, we're missing them back here in Australia!
yup this sounds fimiliar to the pixies lol and for everyone that says nirvana n weeezer well they tried to do the same thing pixies did so yeah all leads back to pixies in the end
I agree! although some of their stuff reminds me of Nirvana i agree, this sing is 100% Pixies :D just listen to that lead riff before the screaming chorus! its like "where is my mind" by the pixies! love em all though, this seems to be a promising band

This is just not my style anymore. Maybe in the early to mid 90's this would have been the shizzle to me. I could not get over the guitar player with the deep roots, shot in stature, and chubby legs. PEACE!
I was right up in front of Lou. I got one of his picks. J was amazing as always. Murph beat the fuck out of the drums. I couldn't hear for days afterwards but it was so worth it. Great show.
I apologize for not making my point clear, I tend to do that: I was there to see my guitar hero, and favorite band of all time: DINOSAUR JR. I did not care who opened, I just wanted them to finish the set so I could see Dino. Lou opened and they ROCKED! Lou did a fantastic job.
@drawrings Oh. Well thanks for keeping a cool head. I do that sometimes too.
I almost got to see Dinosaur Jr. for free, because I won tickets, but I bought tickets for the Rob Zombie concert on the same day. I felt bad that I couldn't go, because I really felt they deserved a chance :/
Ok dude: maybe I was pumped to be there and wanted to see Dinosaur Jr. & could care less who played before them. Now, I can say that Barlow put on a great show. Then of course, J, what more do I need to say. I have that show on video, the audio is crappy, but I was there. PEACE!
this is awesome! They do sound like nirvana but I think this song sounds more like the pixies. It sounds just like somethign the pixies would do but thats not a bad thing becuase nobody really sounds anything like the pixies.
Yeah the lead guitarist is my brother in law and these guys are well on their way to making it big! They have signed a multi million dollar record deal over in the US and will be heading over soon to record their new album!
and whilst the singer is amazing, Violent Soho would not be Violent Soho without all of its band members, or else it wouldnt be Violent Soho. If you are implying that they are copying off Kurt Cobain, I assure you that whilst he may have been an influence/inspiration he did not rise from the dead and write the songs for them and give them musical talent, you twat.

lol, are you talking about james?
hardly a 'lead' guitarist.
i thought luke did the leads anyways.
are you sure its multi-million dollar?
isnt it thruston moores label, and arent they recording in england with gil norton?
surely they rely on the singers voice to get where they are...
oh and kurt cobain.......
but yeah, pretty cool songs all the same.

No, they're touring the US
and whilst the singer is amazing, Violent Soho would not be Violent Soho without all of its band members, or else it wouldnt be Violent Soho.
