Tony Benn is a and was a prat. So was John Stonehouse. If it wasn't for the pirates we'd still be listening to The third, Light and Home stations. "Good Afternoon Ladies and gentlemen...and now The Sydney Smithers quintet plays their rendition of All Along The Watchtower" What utter drivel! Needle time is what we wanted...24 hours a day! We have it now thanks to the pirates! God bless them all.
He was on the radio recently and he managed to mention health and safety 6 times, even before the days of worrying about health & safety!! What a prat! They didn't have an argument then and still don't have one today. If it wasn't for the pirates, we'd all be listening to the likes of a milked down Radio 2 and Radio 4. In fact both those stations are a million times better now thanks to these guys. Long Live the memory of the Pirate Radio Ships and War Forts.
