What is the movie Dark City all about? Can anyone tell me?

IT's about a movie where alien craft this city in space that is made to look like city from the 1940's or earlier. The alien would implant memories in the human and they would do this every so often where a different person would inherent the memories and personality of another person.

John Murdoch's powers in "Dark City" are similar to those mwarvel characters like Franklin Richards and Mister M. They have psychic powers and can alter reality. This was a kick-ass movie when I saw it.

It actually depends on which French speaking part of the world you live in. According to IMDb, the movie was called "Dark City" in France as well, but in Canada (which your profile says you're from) it was apparently called "Cité obscure". Ring a bell? :o)

Alex Proyas was always gifted when it came to directing Dark films. The Crow was amazing, Dark City showed use the dark side of Fantasy, and even I,Robot showed use how mankind's creation almost led to his destruction.
