hey pretty cool bass i just bougth a 5 string have a questoin when u tune a 5 on you tuner it still reads the e string

My question is , can you mod the bass I already have with the Fiber Optics. Or can you explain how you did yours. I play a Traben Phoenix 5 and I am very fond of the tone I get with it. Not saying yours doesn't have very nice tone but I am partial to mine.
