  • I love the Madison Square Garden crowd.

  • Triple h had the biggest return in 2002, 3:16 era remains at large , WHAT?

  • slow your role dude

  • dude the pop was already loud...when he stepped out you just catch the chills!

  • this hhh can easily destroy Batista and john cena

  • look how big triple h is here .i think bigger than batista

  • smooth move trips by kickin the mic out the ring

  • did you record this with your dads dildo?

  • Best ever return.

But considering the video quality of this isn't the best, does anyone know of a better quality video link?

  • 2:02 OMG

  • WOW THIS IS SO BADASS

  • Listen to that pop.

  • Hands down the best return in WWF.

  • Bow to the king

  • Austin, The Rock and Triple H. The Epitome of the Attitude Era.

  • It's all about The Game!

  • this man the best ever ,best heel great mic skills ,most badass wrestler ever and the only man whom stone cold steve austin has accepted as the best ever

  • was this the first time he made his entrance with this theme?

  • No his first appearance with this song was I think at the Royal Rumble 2001, a year before this, I could be wrong though. but this was definetly not his first apperance with this song.

  • @DaveAlmighty22 I think his first appearence with "The Game" music was during his confrontation with Stone Cold before their 3 stages of hell match at no way out 2001

  • 240p we meet again but this I could care less.

  • This was probably the biggest pop in WWE history. Hogan on his best day never got an ovation like that at MSG. When JR is screaming at the announce booth and you can barely hear him, means the place is going bananas.

  • @KalvinEllis What a weird form to write Y2J debut.

  • @KalvinEllis umm yea he did when Hogan came back on Smackdown in 03, his ovation went on for like 20 minutes, the day after WM 18, it was huge, and look at MSG in the 80's..dont talk about things u dont know

  • @Allapattahgoon Spare me your advices. I was not talking about standing ovation, I was talking about a pop that basically blows the roof off the place, and I'm talking strictly about MSG, the place were people say the best pops happen. That's what happened here. Hogan never got anything like that in MSG, nor did anybody else for that matter. Next time you decide to criticize someone, actually pay attention to what their comment says.

  • @KalvinEllis in over 25 years i've never heard a noise like this. Only other that comes close is Austin's return when Mick wins the title for the first time.

  • Why can't the crowd be like this.... WWE EPIC FAIL..These days the only reason why i'm watching this again because kane has his mask again

  • HHH is the perfect wrestler: he has charisma, epic skill in the ring, amazing entrance with amazing music...

  • that was one of the biggest pops in wwf history. but its funnt how austin and the rock get these kind of pops on pretty much any occation

  • WoW what a FUCKING POP!

  • One of the best returns ever. That crowd went crazy

  • THE GAME

  • What am I thinking, it was 10 years ago, this was the first raw of january 2002

  • This was almost 10 years ago, time flies

  • I enjoy pro wrestling

  • King is so funny.

  • you will never get a pop like this ever again all hail the king!

  • one of the biggest pop in WWE history.

  • Kurt Angle sold that pedigree brilliantly!

  • HHH:JUST IN CASE YOU FORGOT LET ME TELL U JUST IN THE WHO THE HELL I AM.

    JERRY:I DONT THINK THEY FORGOT

HHH:I AM THE GAME(PAUSE) AND YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS I'M BACKK.

  • 10 years ago today!

  • I was there that night still have the tix....lol. it was insane when he came out and it just seemed to go on forever. This was attitude...

  • Without Triple H, there wouldn't be these awesome feuds.

  • Great crowd, epic WWF. Fuck pg era.

  • I remember watching this as it happened. 10 years ago on January 7th! Insane! I was 12...this makes me feel old aha. I sat right in front of my tv, turned it right up and just freaked out. Good times!

  • @dannyboywwe and besides, this is in Madison Square Garden, arguably the loudest place. The ufc has yet to go there since Emma is

  • @dannyboywwe really? Go watch when Noguiera knocked out Brendan Schaub in Brazil, when GSP fought in Canada against Mat Serra, Bisping in his first UK fight in the UFC, or when Randy beat Sylvia in 2007. This argument I pointless, the WWE an UFC both create excitement, period.

  • And he left from injury a full blown heel, that's how great the crowds were back then!

  • man listen to the crowd in the video then listen to the crowd of todays shows...its sad

  • I crack up every time I hear JR say "What the hell is this idiot..."

  • Comment removed

  • UFC fans who hate wrestling can HATE WWE all they want, but UFC fans will NEVER see or hear a crowd pop this loud for any of their STARS!

  • although i will say there is one on here with kane and its pretty loud though it dont beat this

  • biggest pop i ever heard, bigger than any of stone colds, takers, rocks all of them, this is the loudest ive heard

  • @Brady2k10 it was loud and was great considering he was a heel before he got hurt and this was madison square garden but the loudest ovation i ever heard was rock vs hhh for the wwf title and stone cold made a surprise return and took out the corporation and rock won the title...the crowd went nuts when the glass broke as it was a complete surprise

  • @Spideymrw is there a vid of that on here?

  • @Brady2k10 they have several and the audio is better on some than others...but basically type in rock vs hhh backlash 2000 or stone cold returns backlash 2000...etc

  • I AM THE PAIN AND I KNOW YOU CAN TAKE ME!!!

  • Dude, I get goosebumps hardcore watching this!

  • @TheZAnders84 same here dude!!!! i was 22 when this happened, ill never forget watching this!

  • Damn that Pedigree was ridiculous. He never let go of Kurts arms. Its one of the best Ive ever seen

  • when anybody from todays wwe can spit fucking water in the air and make the whole garden pop let me know

  • didnt anyone hear JR rapping..."oh could it be..I could agree..the pedigree" xD

  • and it will be your last royal rumble

  • Fuck WWE . have soo much time got WWF

  • back to the days when every character in the wwf/e mattered almost family like

  • Leaves as a heal then all of a sudden comes back and the fans cheer him

  • I WOULD HAVE KILLED to have the worst seat in the garden that night

  • why does HHH used to leave wwe for a while as a heel but return as a face back in the day? 1 month later he turns into heel anyway. lol

  • Never has there been a louder roar in the Garden. Not even when the rangers won the stanley cup.

  • I watch this soooo many thimes but cant get over it

  • "Nobody gives a damn about Kurt Angle's announcement tonight!"

    I felt every word JR

  • Be on our knees for him 19-1

  • HHH rulez

  • I could not wait to see HHH I love him more than my life

  • angle is priceless also i get giddy everytime i hear him say with a broken freekin neck lol it's true it's real

  • i'm not from nyc but every event should be in msg

  • lol, after 8 months the fans forgot he was a heel

  • @AliceNchainz011

Right?! Everyone (including me) magically was glad that HHH was returning XD

  • @AliceNchainz011 None cares he was a heel, they just respect him for what he represents.

  • @AliceNchainz011 people cheer you if you are heel of face if you are gone for a long period of time.

  • @Necrocide187 totally agree

  • @iJeTFiiiRE i know right??? i was shittin bricks when i heard the first guitar rift. kids need a WWF 101 education

  • Epic return.JR's commentary is magical. So bad he cant do it anymore.

  • what a reception

  • JR:"This is the most sustaining roar that i have ever heard in MSG" Epic!!

  • this was probably the most OVER hhh ever was..

  • @bettydaw1970 It infact was.

  • I'd say this! & that's not because i'm an attitude era guy,i'm 28 lol. but I remember this soo much, this was him returning from his quad injury in his tag match w/Jericho. as for the Rock's pop,he was just comin back after just doin a bunch of movies & promotion. Triple H's pop had more merit than the Rock's & more value.

  • who got the bigger pop? The Rock's 2011 return, or this? hmmm

  • @MrPoetistic85 Triple Hs for sure because that man has pretty much dedicated his life to this and this has alot of meaning and emotion to it

  • @MrPoetistic85 I think this personally. the crowds suck now a days, like when grand master sexay returned in 2011, the arena was silent, Road Rogg at the Slammy Awards, Hardly an ovation fit for him...

  • HHH was one of the best heels and face in the history of wwe

  • JR rulzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz "what the hell is this idiot....kurt angle"lolllllz

  • @avinashisdx What timeframe did he say that?

  • @avinashisdx Oh just got it 6:06

  • that jacket was the shit

  • hhh was huge.

  • what a great sell on the pedigree by angle

  • The Attitude Era officially ended after Wrestlemania X8. People needed to stop making up when it ended as if it were up to them to decide when the era came to an end. Watch Wrestlemania X8, and tell me why the camera men are still wearing WWF Attitude shirts? I would say it ended when they changed the name to WWE.

  • That ovation was simply amazing. Louder than the ovation John Cena gets when hes at Wrestlemania LOL

  • @MrWWFAttitude1 Cena has never got that ovation anywhere.

  • while he kurt angle was talking, you could tell he was waiting 4 them 2 say what?

  • The best in the business, Triple H

  • The Biggest Return In WWE History

  • Spine Chilling Return

  • Kurt Angle was so great back in the day.

Made me smile when ever he popped up on screen.

  • listen to that crowd. thats something you gotta miss

  • how did hunter hearst helmsley become the game

  • @COREYMCGUIRE1993

they repackaged him as 'the game' sometime in the late 90s....i still remember him most as the mid-carder sidekick to shawn michaels during DX then eventually D-X leader.

then eventually around 1999 or so, he started winning WWE championships and beating main event guys like The Rock and Mankind. he was being called 'cerebral assassin' by jim ross, and has been 'the game' for the past 12 years or so.

  • "I have come back to bury everyone in WWE and never job"

The thoughts of HHH at the time.

  • @Justin3Santiago you thick motherfucker triple H has jobbed his ass a lot of times he puts people he doesnt like over like cough cough goldberg you fucking thick smark

  • @ACTUALLYrussell

Name 10 people who HHH lost to more than once back at that time.

  • I'd rather watch this epicness of Standard Definition than bullshit in High Definition

  • This shit was epic. Still remember watching it & I honestly didnt expect the ovation to be that big. Was good to see him back tho. When WWE ruled

  • fukn epic!! HHH RULES.

  • epic pop

  • WOW . the crowd is going nuts. there loader here then at the rock at survivor 11

  • @dabouche771 Yea man. But that's not because the Rock isn't as popular now as Triple H was then, it's the audience of these years. They were soo into it. I know people say it all the time and some are probably sick of hearing it by now but the Attitude Era was truly amazing.

  • fuck he's jacked here

  • closest crowd to this ..might be cm punk in chicago with john cena 2011

  • 02:03.. Epic..!!

  • Even the music doesn't compare nowadays. The entrances come on and i'm like yawn.

  • This was one of the most amazing moments in WWE history.

I'll never forget Kurt announcing that he would be in the Royal Rumble...

  • @Sylar377 hhh had to ruin the moment

  • @Sylar377 WWF

  • last year of wwf:(

  • You can tell who HHH likes/dislikes in real life by the way he does the pedigree to them. If he's cool with the person he legs go of his locked hands on the way down. If he doesn't like them, he locks in his hands the entire time. That had to partly be painful for Kurt, lol.

  • Kirk took that pedigree like a champ!

  • the next year he made kane lose his mask :(

  • I can remember hardly getting to sleep after I stayed up to watch this as a kid. Was only 9 at the time, and I still enjoy coming back to wrestling from my childhood. Haven't watched WWE for a good 5/6 years now.

  • @FlyingRat1 ..go eat a dick dude nobody gives a shit how long u been watching wwe go tell your mom to write a book about it bitch.

  • @1viciousguy It would appear 17 people do actually gave a shit. And actually, I don't watch it, as I previously stated. And no, I shan't be asking my mum to write a book about it. Wouldn't make for that great a book now, would it?

    So full of hate.

  • @FlyingRat1 I remember watching this as a kid too...still get excited off it!

  • MSG CROWDS BRING IT EVERY FKING TIME. HHH IS THE MAN

  • wanna know why the Attitude era was the best? ...listen to the crowd.

  • @4evainter well the Attitude era already ended at WrestleMania 17 the previous year.

  • @JRangerCR355 ended? who said it ended at wrestlemania 17?

  • loudest crowd roar ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That is just when you realised how much the WWE and HHH were made for each other.

  • Hey umm wait a min didn't dis video hav around 500k views earlier??

  • my brother was actually there

  • "What the hell is this idiot...." "No one gives a damn about Kurt Angles announcement"

  • Comment removed

  • It's good that he got to experience a return like that during the WWF era.. now a days a return like that would probably get half of the pop shown here.. the kids can't scream as loud

  • what a huge pop

  • Ahh the good old days, show just isn't the same anymore

  • triple h was the best then and the best now

  • i wish he was with team alliance at the invaison

  • I miss that times with this crowd......now the crowd is dead

  • This was after the Royal Rumble ?

  • @EdgeKnox no it was right before

  • What the hell happened to this company? It's unwatchable now

  • @nykia31 the PG era killed it :(

  • @Mikeyboyv7 its too bad. it used to be really entertaining

  • no homo but man triple h was jacked

  • No return touches this one! HHH4Ever!

  • im sorry but...i know Kurt Angle personally...born and raised here in Pittsburgh where im from but i fuckin hated him in the WWE...he was such a little prick!

  • @maclieberman

Is he a cool guy in person?

  • i honestly dont think i have heard an ovation this loud for Triple H other than this return lol the man is a future hall of famer for sure!

  • I tried going to wwfhhh.com and got nothing.....

  • I hate the wwe era I wish Randy Orton was out durning this era

  • The best return ever IMO

  • LOL LOOK AT TRIPLE H TRYING TO LOOK BARE HENCH WHILE HE'S ON THE RAMP

  • holy shit that's a 5 min chant out of a 10 min vid ! that a reaction thumbs up if you agree

  • I AM THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great moment, but HHH's run in 02 was awful.

  • I remember my brother and i lost it when he returned.

  • thumbs up if you tink this video has so muther fucking bad graffics

  • Ummmm, so that just turned me on!! Lol

  • @imf0cused That's not sacrilege, that's the truth!

  • A VERY WELL DESERVED reaction for one of the greatest of ALL time. This had nothing to do with the family he would eventually marry into, or who he knew. It was for his hard work, dedication, sacrifices, and awesome ability. There's only one TRIPLE H!
