Beautiful, Christine! I especially liked the phrase "spice-scented air". That got me imagining. I'm drawn by the silk, military uniform, and propeller plane. I want to read this even more....

@patriciamcn I had fun putting it together for sure, but it was really a matter of finding the pictures that matched the ones in my head as I was writing it. I too love the military unifrom and the propeller plane. I'm real proud of the scene in which the plane is featured. I had a pilot read it over to make sure I had my details right. This pilot used to be a missionary pilot and he'd actually flown something similar.
