  • i rate jungle, but dont really like dnb that much. abit weird haha

  • Techstep was brand new with this great '97 record but it still had a lot of jungle flavor, including ragga basslines and amen breaks (even if it did so almost in quotations). A better comparison would have been anything off Ed Rush & Optical's 2000 album "The Creeps", which has the faster, dumbed-down, 2-step loop boredom that hasn't changed much since then. For me, Jungle will ALWAYS win!

  • Jungle and Drumfunk ftw

  • @wormsicle

Can you find it for me it would be nice to hear.

  • DnB > Jungle

  • @TimothyBarson yeah, white people tend to think that. no racism implied there haha

  • @ArsenalDave04 wow, either my opinion has completely changed over the year, or it's a spelling error!!! JUNGLE > DNB for sure! ;P

  • hmm i thought the second tune was more techstep -ish

  • Jungle all the way... 94/95 was the best period for me!

  • San Francisco Jungle - Drum and Bass scene was amazing for a time D Marie who hosted Eklectic In SF was great at getting the best Jungle DJs and Drum n Bass DJs But as Drum n Bass moves in strong the scene died because the music got to aggressive!!!! DJ Diesel Boy and the Like were just to fast and a mostly male crowd grew which led to the death of the SF scene. It was to bad. For a few years it was great I saw everyone but then it was over, lost to male aggression. Well it was fun though!!!!

  • jungle's the best

  • No need to compare I agree but it is good to try and explain the difference to the rest of the world audiance who have never heard of it.

  • @studentdebts exquisite comparison and well written for the world audience

  • jungle and dnb are both fucking fantastic no need to compare yes yes boys!

  • @mightybazooka .

    Agree!!!!!!.

    Peace be with you.

  • Jungle > drum and bass

  • If you are in your 40`s (like me) you would have witnessed the revolution of music which was called "hardcore"- it was truly amazing to hear it for the first time (for me - Lennie d ice, we are ie). Jungle was great for heavy B line`s but got boring quickly, D@B was refreshing and more versatile in it`s form= They are both great genre`s for us oldies!!!, 5*!!.

  • @jjmm112 Well said bro and i'm in my 40's.... (well late 40's) lol

  • @allbadboy4u2 . Peace. :)

  • jungle all the way

  • @BeeGrau i agree jungle is the best bring it back

  • @multifinish33 yes jungle is way better

  • I'm pretty much in love with both. Both Jungle and DnB got some shitty tunes, but mostly you get great nasty stuff.

  • The first tune is Jungle from 1993 made here in the UK, the second tune is drum and bass.

When the background goes yellow its drum and bass.

I guess it is hard to decide what is best.

  • @studentdebts correct!

  • i like the futuristic sounding space synth stuff. and Amen breaks. ...what is that Jungle or Drum n Bass?

  • i like both... i think it's really inspired by the drugs that are most available at the time
