Please check out my music video for The Middle East's "Jesus Came To My Birthday Party" on Genero.tv and "like" it on Facebook to help me be a finalist. Thank you!
The full short film was finally made. Directed by my good friend Sean King (I wrote the screenplay and edited it) and you can find the trailer here on YouTube.
Paul you have some talent there. your camera moves smoothly and i like your shots. nice job. it looks remarkably balanced for not undergoing correction. what kind of camera did you use? any filters? thanks in advance for your response.
Hello, and thank you for your kind words! It was shot on an Eclair using Kodak 7218 Vision2 500T stock and was telecine'd to DV Cam at Laboratoires Éclair in France. They did a nice job, but I still have to do a little color correction... and add a bit of sound, eventually. We shot at around f2.5 with a 120m lens.
Stay tuned for an updated clip... and thanks again!
Yes. This is one scene I shot as a test from a 12 page short script. I shot this at my film school in Paris, France on 16mm, and I think I will atually make this film in full one day. AND, the crazy thing is, it's based on a true story of a kid who wanted so badly to be a vampire, that he killed for it.
I'm going to be a typical filmmaker jerk and say... "you'll just have to wait for the movie to find out." ;) Okay... that's not nice. I'll say she is in fact a major character, and this scene is early in the script. So, that should (indirectly) answer your question. If I make this film, it will have sound.
Thanks again! Check out my other videos for a trailer for my last film CASSIE, a story about an unfortunate teenage pregnancy. (But, no vampires in that one.)

You mean that is one of your creation ?
In this case, that's awesome !. I like the surprise effect in deed because until 00:56, we can think that the vampire is the girl ^^
