  • You know... I am going to say nothing ... :).

  • @Thewisemonkey9 Hehe . . . :))

  • How wonderful to hear Bryn's great voice first thing in the morning!

  • @sartrific glad you liked it. And as far as I go, I am glad to hear his voice any time of the day :)))) In terms of natural beauty in the voice he is right up there at the top.

  • Many thanks! Bryn always radiates so much joy for music!

  • @kadoguy2006 Thanks for watching my little personal video. Bryn Terfel is the epitome of great singing - he infuses every syllable with importance and care. I heard him "live" in the Valkyrie performance and he was wonderful. I love that he "plays" with his voice to make it soft or strong, and always with thoughtful intent.

  • Without any doubt one of the most passionate & moving Anthems (and this from an Englishman!

  • Merveilleux!!!

  • @77Opera Merci Beaucoup :)

  • So that's Welsh? I've never heard it sung that way and it sound surprisingly quasi-Germanic - quite unlike the much lighter Irish Gaelic or even Scots Gaelic.. Beautiful video photographically and sonically! (And after seeing the costumes, I'm just surprised that no one has tried Die V. in Klingon, dress and all - after all, a play acting company has been doing "Hamlet" that way!)

  • @rakkav All I know is that says it is Welsh - for all I know it is klingon!

  • @cantorandopera

It's the National Anthem of Wales (population 3 million souls). See Bryn in the crowd:
