Work around the system? It sounds as if you wish to tolerate oppression, this of course is ridiculous. I'm not sure who truly stands for what in this world but I do feel that standing down from protesting against any sort of injustice through fear of being wrapped over the knuckles, is not the way forward. If you look at Gandhi, he helped overthrow the British control of India without fighting them. The British beat and beat the protesters and shot them, but it was futile. But what Occupy should do is protest Washington instead of the corporations.

You do make a good point, though --- anyone who takes part in the Occupy Movement is a possible target for arrest/detainment, blacklisting, etc. But we have to be willing to put ourselves on the line in order to let the powers that be know we refuse to just give in & follow orders.

If you look at Gandhi, he helped overthrow the British control of India without fighting them. The British beat and beat the protesters and shot them, but it was futile. You do make a good point, though --- anyone who takes part in the Occupy Movement is a possible target for arrest/detainment, blacklisting, etc. But we have to be willing to put ourselves on the line in order to let the powers that be know we refuse to just give in & follow orders.

They don't need to get us all in one place to do a general sweep/mass arrest --- we're already in their custody just by being citizens of the USA. The fact that they're in control is EXACTLY why we all need to do our part to keep pissing them off & prove that we refuse to bow down to their illegitimate authority! I have heard Alex Jones say that occupy wallstreet was set up by the Gov some are there for legite reasons. HI irene, first i really like you, but second let me try to explain the position we are in. we know something is wrong in a natural law sort of way, but in a 'legal' way all is 'just' supposedly. this creates a fracture between people who understand natural law and people who think legal code IS natural law. its a difficult problem to address and women are beter with emotions than men generally maybe im wro.g but thats what i thought <3

yes i agree irene..i listen to alot of videos because i like learning and the information is useful. its better than watchign eastenders or x-factor and binge drinking. i like to know whats what from what. The cities are going to be the most dangerous places arent they. Why would anyone encourage people en masse to go to cities to protest which could result in riots when they know fine well than "prison cities" have been forecast....swapping being one sheep to be another sheep.
