i know what this is like i live in la and this is not fun unless your like me and go stand out side like a dumb ass in winds gusting at 115 in a way its cool but when you see homes get blown away it hits you time to go lol but i was born in la and its to the point to where when they say theres a hurricane coming im like ok lets just get every thing ready cuz its just one of the risks you take to live in la are any state by the coast realy but i love it here.
Excellent video, really captured the wind nicely. I'm suprised those traffic signals by the Walgreen's held. They were certainly flailing wildly on the wires.
No I did not get hit by any flying metal or debris. I used a two story building that was made out of brick to block the wind from where I was filming.
Used to live in SE Louisiana. All I can say is I'm glad I'm no longer there. Loved the area, just not the weather!! LOL Have friends in Houman, hope they made it out. Excellent footage, closest I'd want to be to a 'cane. Adding to playlist, thanks.

We may have hot summers and cold winters in Montreal but man am I glad that we do not have to go through hurricanes in Canada.

Yeah, I was using the sturdy buildings of the mall to block the wind so I could get out and shoot video.

The "woah" was just due to the large amount of debris flying out from under the bank canopy.
