I like this song, but there's one thing I don't understand: I've been learning arabic for about a year and a half, and I simply don't get it why people read 'قمرين' as 'amareen' and not 'qamereen' ? I've noticed this in other songs, like 'alby' instead of 'qalby'.

Could some of my Arab brothers or sister explain this to me? Thanks :)

@ch7asni it's just a matter different accents. The formal "ق " sound is pronounced as "a" as in amareen or alby by Egyptions, Syrians, Lebanese and some other parts of the Arab world.. While if you go to Arabian Gulf countries pepole there would pronounce "ق " as "g" thus you'd hear them say gamareen and galby.. but off course everybody will understand you if you used the formal "ق" sound... hope that helped, love from Jeddah :-)

@ch7asni As others mentioned, it's just dialect, a different accent. However, if you say amareen or qamareen, anyone speaking arabic will still understand you! This is just Egypt's common day-to-day language. Every country has it's own accent and even some vocabulary, however every country will understand the proper arabic which is the one you're learning, I presume :).
