I'm a bit confused when I saw the lyrics. Her "smoking" is one thing (if she was a young child then) but what exactly did she mean when she said she would "get a Chinese and watch tv"? Is it a racist joke which I'm not getting? Or did she mean get chinese food? I think the song title "Chinese" has quite misrepresented the content of the song anyway.

@minghan05 it's Chinese food, and supposedly, the notion of ordering Chinese food and watching TV nowadays gives off a very peaceful sense. it's kinda hard to explain but living in the UK and everytime my friends said hey lets order chinese food, I kinda feel a bit relaxed in a way. arrggh, these kinds of feelings are hard to put into words I guess. from my point of view, I would say the title and the use of the word "Chinese" here is just a "different" way to express how she wants that feeling.
