did you buy that go kart from somebody for $300 becouse i used to have a go kart EXACTLY like that same metal beside the seat with the holes in it and the big tires on the back and everything wen i sold it had a 11hp engine on it and it went 40 mph aaahhhh i miss that thing hahaha i swear to god that has to be my old go kart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmm. looks like a 1991 dingo retrofitted with a big twin cylinder motorcycle or riding mower engine. not as "custom" as you make it to be, but i envy you being able to fit a v-twin motorcycle engine. dingos are good for custom motors because they have a lot of space. the wheels and tires aren't custom, they're stock on a dingo. you're not fooling anyone mate :) the only custom things you've done are the motor. i ahve a 1991 dingo with a 1989 briggs 8hp.

get a riding mower tranny put 2in pulley on tranny and 8in on motor and now you have a manual gocart :) email me for more info ive done this a thousand times

Not sure if you already know, but incase you dont, put the engine tin/shroads back on, or it could overheat.

haha wow i have a standard go cart frame and i took that exact same 18hp lawnmower engine out and want to put it in my cart. i found a 1 in clutch that can handle up to 18 hp but its 180$. i just want to put in a diferential and im prob gona have like a 5:1 ratio

well it doesn't matter how many horses u have its about the rpm of ur engine I've beat dirt bikes and atvs up to a 125 4 wheeler

well i use to have a 5hp flathead briggs.. and i put all billet internals.. aluminum arp head ported the intake and exhaust 12" straight header.. raptor carb.. 489lift cam with dual valve springs.. and running on alcohol... with a k&n filter.. briggs hot coil..3hp flywheel.. and its.FAST runs like 65mph and its geared for low end... i dynoed at 16hp.. and reved till 10,000rpm... but i had a 29 dalor clutch that sucked..lol

i milled the heads down on this and im gettin an after market carb for it but i also have e3 diamondfires and polished heads and valves. once i find a carb i think it should be aroung 30 ish horsepower but now i got like 22-25
