That's Jason McElwain. He is an autistic kid that couldn't make his high school JV basketball team so he helped around until his senior year, when 1 day, coach told him to suit up before the game since it would be his last chance to play.

So when coach put him in with 4 minutes left in the game, Jason badly airballed a 3 point shot. But then when on to hit 6 threes and finish the game with 20 points.

Between the superbowl Ad and online views, this video has recieved more then 20 million views. Thats why we have the phrase the buzz. Gatorade wanted to make this commercial vague and mysterious. If they wanted to they easily could have put a recognizeable logo. Its said right in the commercial. But it never really answers the question. It still creates a buzz and begs people to ask WHAT IS G? Its like a cliffhanger. Hate the commercial, brilliant marketing.
