  • They should totally make a new version of this song with the lyrics changed slightly to reflect the upcoming war with Iran.

  • Great tune. Great Pic.

  • Ron Paul 2012 President; End the Wars!

  • This video was just added to a music playlist at JustPlay.fm

  • Ah yes, 1990 gilman st

  • Lots of security would have to be around them, I'd imagine xD

  • I don't know how this band made it alive but I'm so glad they did xD ♥

  • I apologize for the immaturity of the previous comments. That was my 12 year old brother. He uses my computer alot. Reality is I dont care what muslums do as long as they ar not attacking us or trying to force their stuff on us. I respect them and their beliefs. Its the radicals that make them look bad. Just like for every group. But I do think the mosk(Idk spelling) next to ground zero is bullshit. Also its just a song. People should not be offended so easily. Sorry again for the immaturity.

  • @FordMan055 Why is the mosque next to ground zero "bullshit", in your opinion?

  • @BillHicks420 Lets build a nuclear weapon museum in hiroshima. How does that sound? Or a holucost museum in isreal. It just dosent make sence.

  • @FordMan055 You're comparing apples to oranges, and thus your point is not valid. Mosque is NOT the same as museums. Mosques are religious outlet for Islam, it has nothing to do with weapons of mass destruction or Museums. The holocaust didn't happen in Israel, it happened in Northern Europe where there actually ARE plenty museum. You fail. There is no reason why a Mosque shouldn't be built next to ground zero, as long as it's not funded publicly. Mosques have nothing to do with 9/11

  • @FordMan055 By your same "logic"m we should ban churches everywhere were there has been religious wars or casualties, which is EVERY FUCKING WHERE. Your point is invalid, and not thought through, do you have any VALID reasons, or just general ignorance ridden bullshit?

  • @Fordman055: you owe the world an apology for your useless existence you foolish boy. Tell me what is your name? If you are in the army, your career is finished. I assure you. fool. Hahahahaha. you know not who you mess with small boy and you think you matter even more laughable. Even our country sends the likes of you to war hoping your kind, never makes it back. Fool!

  • @dexterbadahmad Lol@Your Superiority Complex.

  • @dexterbadahmad your a dumbass dude, do you realize how stupid you sound. fuckin idiot.

  • @dexterbadahmad

I have to say, you could be a script writer for the next He-Man featuring Skeletor.

  • @fordman055: your opinion is as useful as you are you worthless pile of excrement.

For the record american. And you my friend are un american and will be duly reported for your hate speech. Foolish boy. Your whole generation could not compare with me. So hold your tongue boy lest you get bitten. You moron, you are what we call America's refuse. It means shit as I know your education level is but paltry

  • I like the song. Im gonna say the lyrics are about how awsome we did in the gulf war.

  • @FordMan055 lol dead wrong

  • @wheezdajuice Everybody needs a job, but are you willing to risk losing your mind and raping innocent Afghan girls like they do know days.....? I've met Iraq vets, trust me they feel used for a bad cause :/

  • @wheezdajuice You do realise this song is anti-war...right?

  • @wheezdajuice i like the song very much, ur right, it gives you chills, but kinda energy too :)

  • only baghdad swapped with tehran, istnt it?

  • Hmm does tehran seem like it's a tad faster than this song?

  • ma questa non è tehran?!?!?!

cacchio non trovo più questo cd!

  • Just so y'all know, if you study a bit of history, you will find that Tehran was written before Baghdad, and that Tehran is about the Iran conflict during the Reagan years, and Baghdad is about Desert Storm, NOT our current war in Iraq and Afghanistan, although the lyrics can certaily apply just as well as they did back then. Kabul wouldn't rhyme as well, though. :)

  • Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah The Offspring have a Upcoming album :D:P

Hope comes something like this song :P

  • Man, ive been an offspring fan for ever since i was a kid. along with all my muslim friends. I am aware of the song tehran but the fact that dexter whom i love, would disrespect Islam saddens me deeply in this day and age with a edited version baghdad....dexter thats disgusting and you owe muslims everywhere an apology. ....

  • @dexterbadahmad ummm... no. Yes, the words "Islam be damned" are in the song, but in making sense of them you need to put it in the context of the song. This song isn't exactly a celebration of ideas like "our flags are burning" or "our casualty is just a number" or "Islam be damned." The song is, by my interpretation, a statement against those ideas by exposing them as repellant.

Come on now. Let's use our heads and not our hypersensitive gut reactions in the absence of thought.

  • @xmorbid16x The lyric is: "The president said let it ride! Islam be Damned Make your last stand In Baghdad" Later: "The Captain said Kill or Die! Islam be damned Make your last stand In Baghdad" He's paraphrasing what the government officials are essentially telling our soldiers before they are sent out to die.
  • @dexterbadahmad you either didn't read the lyrics or didn't interpret them correctly. The fact that this song was in Rock against Bush should say something about their stand on this issue...

  • @dexterbadahmad trolling much?

  • @dexterbadahmad Muslums are evil and I hope they all die. Do I owe you an apology? NO! You probably wish the same for Americans. Dexter dosent owe you shit.

  • @FordMan055 Umm, the lyrics are meant to be taken as satire. He's being sarcastic.

  • My fave bands are Nirvana and The Offspring.

    Totally awesome music...

  • @necrOothic same!

  • @KalliDElta66

Hell yeah, Rock is dying day by day, if Kurt Cobain was alive today i think they would not pass his music on MTV again... The times are changing, people now listen to lady gaga and justin bieber... bah,,,

  • The OFFSPRING THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD

  • @davidtheoffspring hell yeah!

  • this song is awesome

    <3 Rachel

  • who gave this spammer a thumbs up!?

  • In the start it sounds almost like

Pay The Man somehow... really nice song btw.

  • the reason it sounds close 2 pay the man is because (i think) the riffs were inspired by middle east music

  • well think again.... THIS is older than sum41's song. This stuff is from the 80s! I think it's from '88 but I'm not sure because this was a Demo or something like that.... but it's older than 20 years!

  • cardinalfan95, I guess it's the other way round...

  • i think 91

  • That's impossible, they released their first album, The Offspring, in 1990, and this one, Baghdad, doesn't sound very professional, well, not as professional as Tehran.

  • It sounds totally different to me...

  • rock against bush llll

  • thats good Haffira, cuz this song is aginst Bush not Islam, and im serb and i love too this song, hate Bush!!!

  • yeah too YOU he was good

  • He was the REASON 9/11 happened you fucking idiot, if he didn't plan it, than he actively went FAR out of his way to let it happen. You were probably watching FOX News and hopped up on meth when you wrote that. You must be really, really, really fucking stupid - what state are you from?

  • @tehlulz576 9/11 was a scam 2 make so dont blame some1 else for some1 elses "mistake"

  • @noradz LOL the last good President we had was JFK and they killed him because he was good.

  • @skatepunkzero lol that is so what an uneducated idiot would say. jfk was just as part of the elite as the rest of the government, and is only popular because he died when his approval ratings were fairly high at the time

  • I am a Serb, too .... I completely agree with this

  • I love this song and Offspring but it just doesn't make as much sense as Tehran. $ example when they say "Great Satan", they're taking a quote from Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini, and that just doesn't fit with Baghdad and Iraq. The song Tehran meant alot 2 me bc I was born in Tehran the same year they recorded it. Rare track though, and I'm glad u posted it.

  • i'm a muslim and i love this song.

  • dude disable the comments SelfEsteemSMASH

  • its actually the same exact song...dexter and noodles just went back and forth on whether it should be about baghdad or tehran because both would apply when the song was written so the lyrics are vaguly different at some parts but overall its the same song

  • I like Tehran better. The tempo of this is slower, and the word Baghdad doesn't flow as nicely as Tehran. Plus, it's interesting how this song was written 11-12 years prior to 9/11. Dexter comments on how the song Conspiracy of One was shocking just before 9/11, but I think Tehran is even more so.

  • How is this song relevant to 9/11?

  • Yeah it was written about conflicts in the middle east in the early 90's not a prophecy about today's conflict. Learn some history will you?

  • Nobody said it was a prophecy. Now shut the fuck up and listen to the song.

  • First of all read the comment by OffspringFanboy and second of all you really need to stop being a waste of human DNA and learn some manners. Just because no one can see ur face or kick ur ass on here doesn't mean you should arbitrarily tell people to shut the fuck up you worthless prick.

  • Yeah, and I'M the one who needs to learn some manners. He didn't actually say anything about a prediction, all he said was something about how this song was interesting in its "relation" to that incident.

Holy shit you're either completely autistic or you really don't pay any attention at all.

  • First of all read the comment by OffspringFanboy and second of all you really need to stop being a waste of human DNA and learn some manners. Just because no one can see ur face or kick ur ass on here doesn't mean you should arbitrarily tell people to shut the fuck up you worthless prick.

  • Hmm...you basically just repeated what you said before and then used my claim that you hadn't read the comment against me. Yeah, I probably shouldn't waste my time on you considering your laughable attempts to offend me. Cheerio, prick.

  • First of all read the comment by OffspringFanboy and second of all you really need to stop being a waste of human DNA and learn some manners. Just because no one can see ur face or kick ur ass on here doesn't mean you should arbitrarily tell people to shut the fuck up you worthless prick.

PS It is exactly the same all I'm doing is copying and pasting. Douchetard.

  • You're a fuckin' idiot.

    That's all I'm gonna say.

  • LOL...Douchetard

I've got to start using that.

  • hmm ... there is not very much different about this song and teheran i think the only

things that were chanched are that teheran was replaced with bagdad ... and maybe some changes in the end of the song ... that´s all

  • thnx a lot for upload.

  • are youtaking place in the hammerhead contest...love this album..glad i was able to get a copy of this single

  • i was thinking about making a video but im not too sure about it.

    your entry kicks ass.

  • hey thanks a lot man..

  • @dirytmagic This isn't the single,the single is Tehran,nothing change,execept in the sing,they don't say baghdad and say Theran

  • @alvezcs i was talking about the album itself

  • um no it's not.

listen to the whole thing before commenting.

the song is different than Tehran.

  • @SelfEsteemSMASH Yeah a couple of words in the lyrics as well as the whole track being slower. It is also more fully produced. I still prefer Tehran.

  • @Rydog011011001 The chords are similar but they used different lyrics. :) It's okay lol, We all screw up like that sometimes

  • @Rydog011011001 Yeah, sorry dude, but you kinda failed there...Though I can see the confusion cuz the songs are almost alike...

  • I've been looking for this for ages! Were did you get it?
