both of the suits are pretty much even in this fight. if Exia is stronger i believe it should be even after exia and setsuna has been a bit exhausted before Grahams appearance they are pretty much fighting a fair 1vs1. In the end the pilot makes the suit strong not the suit itself, exia and this grahams flag has same amount of speed and power in close combat. All in all Grahams and Setsunas awesomeness makes them both strong =D

And then after that, when the audience is starting to calm down and think that it's over, an alarm goes off, we hear the most awesome music ever, and we get this thrown in our faces.

actually, its a common practice to just place sensors and cameras all around a mobile suit. even if the head is blocked or blown up, the pilot could still see. in season 2, the Throne Drei is reduced to just the chest and abdomen and it had some video function working. enough to see that louise was going to shove some claws in her chest anyways

@Escthiil you also have to remember though that Setsuna had already been in a continued fight, whereas Graham is coming in fresh. I would say that fully makes up for the difference in suit strength but it might bring it closer. Also, I would assume that Graham's pilot suit has some type of G force dampeners built in.

The fight has more to do with the plot than the actual mobile suits. Pretty much everyone died in the end so it's weird to leave Exia in victory. It is the amuro and char rivalry all over again. It's pointless to say one is superior. Therefore it's unfair to say that Graham is better than Setsuna.
@Escthiil But, as previosuly stated, Exia had just come off another battle and was more or less blindsided by Graham's GN Flag. Plus the Gundams are typically weaker than normal afer they use Trans-Am. If Setsuna was facing him first he probably would've killed Graham, just like he almost did when it was 00 vs whichever Samurai influenced suit Graham happened to be piloting at the time.
@MrLunitunz they fought once with both in equal footing (00 raiser vs Masurao Susanoo), and Graham almost won had it not been for plot hole powers for Setsuna.It was pretty obvious throughout both seasons that Setsuna was not even the second best pilot in the show, he only got carried first by the GN drives, then the trans-am system, and finally the TDS and powers of innovation. In terms of skill, Graham, Ali, Hallelujah and Ribbons were better pilots.
@LockonStratos21 All the Meisters are like that, reliant on the Gundams. That's the problem with these AU Gundam shows, whereas in the original UC the protagonists would be dependent on the Gundam's power for a while and then grow to become better pilots, in almost all the AU shows they never do that, instead simply upgrading to unbelievably powerful suits. Having said that, as far as 00 is concerned, the fact Setsuna matches all of these pilots demonstrates he's at least on par with them.
@MrLunitunz I agree with everything except that he is on par with Graham... it IS strongly implied from beginning to end that he is the best pilot (even Hallelujah) its Graham... cuz the only person who pulls the stunts he does on Flags... its Setsuna with the 00 Raiser and Innovator skills... without the G Dampers to boot... @Xerom619 Graham manages to perform well in what would usually be an inferior suit, demonstrating his skill. But the fact that Setsuna usually manages to keep up with him and then eventually defeat him is what's meant by 'on par'.
In every Gundam, the head is usually the main camera or contains part of it. Especailly when you think about the UC, 0083 first had the paranomic cockpit that had full 360 view, which would be impossible with jus the four cameras generally seen on the head.

there is some good battles in s2 ...yeah i agree with ya ribbons ms (kinda reminds of the alvarron) looks like a bulldozer and probly connected to that huge ark.
well,luckily sunrise did not totally disappoint us,as the ribbon's Guncannon mech is transformable to a very cool gundam..Or should i say its actually stargazer?
i think it had a good ending for the series.. though i know that theres a movie coming out next year... and also, dont forget that theres a side story for it "Gundam 00V' which is set 15 years after the anime... so, for me this is the best, well constructed and awesome gundam series.. and gundam wing is a very very close second...
normaly an original is pretty hard to beat like gundam wing i still say wing is 1st ti gundam 00 the series bored me through out the begining and very few scenes appealed to me they needed more tactical and political meetings and negotiations and much more distant bad to the bone characters with a huge unraveling side to him there wasnt enough meaning and drama it was more like light speed killing in 10 seconds unlike the more storyish dramatic gundam wing there was just more passion to it
Well the problem with me about watching wing was just how unrealistic it was. One Gundam could blow 20 Leo's away with a head vulcan blast. There was no danger to the characters (at least for the first 40 ep) because you knew there Gundams were unstoppable. The other HUGE problem with wing was the simple fact that NO GOOD CHARACTERS DIED. Now that REALLY pissed me off. If they flew a Gundam they don't die, that is like the motto for Gundam Wing. And Don't get me started about that buster rifle..
well then you never really watched the series i acctully own all the episodes one guy did die piloting the wing zero when he battled the Deathsythe Gundam and the whole build of wing zero is quite logical ecspecialy when you include the manga series with Lucifer Gundam (Zero system 2.0) and the Wing Gundam Seraphim ( 2.5) which Gundams were now under mass production by the Romafeller foundation so now you have a million wing zeros with buster rifles now its all fair plus both pilots died
plus to add read all the mangas tons of Gundam pilots die like a massacre like the pilots of the new remake of the original five gundams all die includeing few others

@Nameless1908 And you are forgetting Graham is in an overflag without G-force dampers that is supposed to make it a breeze to pilot suits with extreme acceleration? Without those, even 10 g-forces can kill a person.
All in all, he's in a WEAKER and INFERIOR suit, and he pulled a draw with Gundam Exia, which was the STRONGER and SUPERIOR suit, with BETTER piloting skills.

@Escthiil you also have to remember though that Setsuna had already been in a continued fight, whereas Graham is coming in fresh. I would say that fully makes up for the difference in suit strength but it might bring it closer. Also, I would assume that Graham's pilot suit has some type of G force dampeners built in.

@Escthiil Gundam Exia just got out of trans-am mode, so it's hard to say that the Flag was at an disadvantage during the fight. At least they were in some equal footing. The fight has more to do with the plot than the actual mobile suits. Pretty much everyone died in the end so it's weird to leave Exia in victory. It is the amuro and char rivalry all over again. It's pointless to say one is superior. Therefore it's unfair to say that Graham is better than Setsuna.

@Escthiil But, as previosuly stated, Exia had just come off another battle and was more or less blindsided by Graham's GN Flag. Plus the Gundams are typically weaker than normal afer they use Trans-Am. If Setsuna was facing him first he probably would've killed Graham, just like he almost did when it was 00 vs whichever Samurai influenced suit Graham happened to be piloting at the time.

@MrLunitunz they fought once with both in equal footing (00 raiser vs Masurao Susanoo), and Graham almost won had it not been for plot hole powers for Setsuna.It was pretty obvious throughout both seasons that Setsuna was not even the second best pilot in the show, he only got carried first by the GN drives, then the trans-am system, and finally the TDS and powers of innovation. In terms of skill, Graham, Ali, Hallelujah and Ribbons were better pilots.

@LockonStratos21 All the Meisters are like that, reliant on the Gundams. That's the problem with these AU Gundam shows, whereas in the original UC the protagonists would be dependent on the Gundam's power for a while and then grow to become better pilots, in almost all the AU shows they never do that, instead simply upgrading to unbelievably powerful suits. Having said that, as far as 00 is concerned, the fact Setsuna matches all of these pilots demonstrates he's at least on par with them.

In every Gundam, the head is usually the main camera or contains part of it. Especailly when you think about the UC, 0083 first had the paranomic cockpit that had full 360 view, which would be impossible with jus the four cameras generally seen on the head.

i think it had a good ending for the series.. though i know that theres a movie coming out next year... and also, dont forget that theres a side story for it "Gundam 00V' which is set 15 years after the anime... so, for me this is the best, well constructed and awesome gundam series.. and gundam wing is a very very close second...

normaly an original is pretty hard to beat like gundam wing i still say wing is 1st ti gundam 00 the series bored me through out the begining and very few scenes appealed to me they needed more tactical and political meetings and negotiations and much more distant bad to the bone characters with a huge unraveling side to him there wasnt enough meaning and drama it was more like light speed killing in 10 seconds unlike the more storyish dramatic gundam wing there was just more passion to it

Well the problem with me about watching wing was just how unrealistic it was. One Gundam could blow 20 Leo's away with a head vulcan blast. There was no danger to the characters (at least for the first 40 ep) because you knew there Gundams were unstoppable. The other HUGE problem with wing was the simple fact that NO GOOD CHARACTERS DIED. Now that REALLY pissed me off. If they flew a Gundam they don't die, that is like the motto for Gundam Wing. And Don't get me started about that buster rifle..

well then you never really watched the series i acctully own all the episodes one guy did die piloting the wing zero when he battled the Deathsythe Gundam and the whole build of wing zero is quite logical ecspecialy when you include the manga series with Lucifer Gundam (Zero system 2.0) and the Wing Gundam Seraphim ( 2.5) which Gundams were now under mass production by the Romafeller foundation so now you have a million wing zeros with buster rifles now its all fair plus both pilots died

WOW WHAT A DEEP SAD SERIES!! oh and it was unrealistic becasue in the TV SHOW no one could compete with any Gundam unless they had about 500 moible suits.
