  • Jejeje aqui la voz de Cher suena mas gruesa que la de Sony jijiji y en los 60 las dos voces sonaban igual de agudas xD

  • It was quite simply a fantastic song. The best showcase possible for the teenage Cher.

  • I saw this in 87 when it first aired. It was a great TV moment!! It's sad that this was to be their last time to sing together.

  • I cried....I admit it......

  • @Valkonnen This gave me goosebumps back on the day they did this and again today as I just listened to it....siighhh

  • Will you go to Heaven?

  • this is a Valentines special....why you ask....this was long after their divorce. Cher already had dated Gene Simmons and others...this actually was pretty soon before Sonny's accidental death, but watch Cher...she is "wrapped up" in the moment and fumbles on the lyrics....the flame never was extinguished all the way, showing the power of love................Bryan (AKA BJ THE VJ)

  • @bvandn1 Sonny died in 1998, almost 11 years after this video.

  • david was the greates in those days now his show really sucked

  • That got me a little choked up. No need to say it, I know I'm stupid.

  • @besamemucho5 so was she, the way they look at eachother in this clip is the same as they used too<3

  • wow

  • Sonny never lost his love for Cher. He loved her till the day he died.

  • I loved it!

  • How sweet it was! And still is. RIP Sonny.

  • This is not a Song. This is a lifestory mit Feeling and Hard Remember.

  • that gives me a lump in my throat....i miss them

  • Loved Paul's direction at the end.

  • You could see the sadness in Cher's eyes when she was looking at Sonny during the song. They were and still are a part of the culture of those of us today who lived through those times.

  • @waynemegaman I agree, same with Sonny...Its kind of sad to watch for those of us that grew up with these two....In a perfect world, they would be singing this as a couple... but instead, its just another part of our past that is gone... R.I.P. Sonny...

  • LETTERMAN GOT A HUGE SCOOP ON THAT ONE AND DONT THINK HE DIDNT HAVE IT PRE-CONCEIVED! GOOD ONE PANTS! KNOWING THEY WOULD BOTH BE THERE HE WOULDVE BEEN AN IDIOT TO NOT DO THAT! CHRIST PEOPLE!

  • @NatsFan0 I wouldn't be surprised if Sonny knew about it beforehand too. He didn't seem at all surprised.

  • you can tell that after all those years SONNY stilled loved cher no doubt about that at all!!!

  • God, I love Cher!!! She's THE GREATEST!!!:D God Bless Her :)

  • @kingelf3 thank you kingelf3.

  • @saptono its ok :)

  • letterman should have sung it with sonny.

  • Thanks!

  • This was a great television moment when it aired (November 13, 1987 to be exact), but now after Sonny was so tragically killed it's even more cherished. Good for Dave for coaxing Cher into it. It would be the very last time they would ever sing together.

  • @TheClassica87 yes how i remember that show thanks for the exact date....didn't know that.

  • What year was this done on Letterman?

  • @58rooster . The year was 1987. One of the greatest moments in television.

  • @floridagatorsguy Thanks for fielding that one. I remember watching it but forgot what year. BTW I remember the golden age of college football too. Bobby Bowden's Florida Gators versus Tom Osbourne's Nebraska Cornhuskers! They had some great games and some great teams!

  • @John1948TwelveA Bobby Bowden coached Florida State.

  • @theboomer61 Yes, thanks for the correction. We have great games with all the Florida teams, Florida, FSU and Miami.

  • @theboomer61 ah coach bowden was the greatest of all time, had the honor of playing tight end for him
