This song reminds me of my youth so much, as much as I like it , it also kind of hurts watching this video, because I was so care free when this song came out and now I'm married with two kids trying to pay a mortgage. I love this song . It's true what they say; music is the soundtrack to your life,
that's not true.. shes still so unique and sexy, she not another hollywood bitch she is just more famous than she was before, and that's great, she is a legend for me and she will allways be the stylish leader of No Doubt
No Doubt's only good album - Tragic Kingdom. I loved listening to it. Real music.
Now No Doubt makes songs like "hey baby hey baby hey". Wow, what awe-inspiring lyrics. Truly epic poetry that will get everyone to requestion their existence. Hey baby, hey baby, hey.
First 20 seconds or so is a slight ripoff of early 80s tune "The Fanatic" by a band called Felony. Met her and Gavin at a restaurant in downtown Long Beach last year. Both pretty nice.
No Doubt - Beacon Street Collection was their best album. Saw them twice in Charlotte great in concert both times. All of their early albums are worth the purchase. Their music grows on you because they are so different.
this is totally fire pit music.pple have no idea,me and my besties back when i was growing up used to listen to bands like no doubt 24/7.just bulls*&tten about life.
seriously if your looking for groups out of the late nineties and trying to find that sound...look in the late nineties there are no groups that have the same sound now. they have all modernized.....to mainstream crap
Everyone listens to these Old No Doubt songs thinking its going to be like this-IT WILL NOT BE LIKE THIS WHEN THEY MAKE THEIR NEW MATERIAL! It will be like: hey baby etc. Not this style! It will be their stuff from the 2000's!
suddenly it's the 90's again. ahh this takes me back =P. good stuff. i think they're going down in the classics. when their old stuff pops up on the radio i do a little happy dance.
If every one of their albums sounded exactly the same, would you even listen to them? No. They change their style because they're creative and good enough to do so. Stop hating, haters.
and k, ppl say that theres no rock/alternative anymore, thats bullshit.. there are so many awesome bands out there right now.. you just have to find them.
They never said they were a punk band. As for ska, they used to be a ska band in their first album and before they got signed when they were playing in the OC clubs. In TG they just watered it down a lot and then kept changing they're sound in other albums. They werent even considered a pop band till the hella good album and thats after like 10+ years being in the band
I agree. Im 26 and I loved No Doubt, especially the Tragic Kingdom album. I think the punk rock of the early-mid 90's was the last true shred of rock/alternative rock left. Today its all about labels and pop. There's really nothing left of rock anymore. There's only a hand full. Its sad that the youth of today don't have ethics.
And also, I think the ppl in charge of marketing think rock/alternative is over/no longer popular, of course we know better but they try to make everything pop so it's even harder than when more punk/rock is trying to come back.
Sorry, please don't misunderstand me, but I always thought No Doubt was classified as ska-alternative? Now, looking back, I realize I liked a lot more punk. That Clash song, Rock the Casbah, I loved it. And I liked this one punk guy, but I never thought of myself as punk. It's so weird. She was my fave singer as a child. :) I still love her.
No doubt was way better then gwens hip hop shit. she is way better a punk then a hip hop Star. what like about this video its trying to look like 50's and even sounds like 50's a little.
Wow I was in the 6th grade when this video came out! Me and my friends were obsessed with No Doubt back then. I still love them! Can't wait until they come to LA.
I can't belive my 17 year old daughter is suprised i love these guys!!! I'm not that old lol i'm only 35.... well maybe i am getting up there but No Doubt ROCKS and always will!!!
