Hmm. My personal favorite is Caissie Levy. She is PERFECT. Her cackle is also the best. 2nd place is Willemijn Verkaik.

lol, i don't think it's just her cackle, alone! i think it's EVERYTHING about her. her singing voice is beautiful, her regular voice is perfect for the role, her acting is amazing, and caissie is the only elphaba who could actually be margaret's twin. i think that counts for alot. and sure, i'll send you a julia murney video :-)

San Francisco Company? Yeah me 2.I saw Idina the first time, tryout run then Eden when it came back. They were both great. Different. The Pre-New York stuff is interesting. Slightly different lyric, Defying Gravity is a bit longer, a bit 'spookier'And then there's Fiyero's song which was cut in favor of "Dancing Through Life"

I don't know anything. Since they are closing the LA production down and shipping it here. I assume much of the LA cast will travel with it up North. Some of my friends are rooting for Eden since so many saw her when she rocked it out up here 4 years ago and in LA. I loved her in it but I'm ready for someone new and different as the green girl. Some of those up and coming Elphies/Glindas have a lot to offer.
