  • u sound so wierd its unreal

  • Sadly it is me - watch some more of my vids

  • Cool dude. you must be a wild

  • ok I watched the vid, I have no crap to give ya, I dont think she sould have been forced to stand for the pledge if she did`nt agree on her own to do so,its a public school its her right not to stand if she does`nt want to for what ever reason.

  • how does it help them to get rid of some brands of cars I dont get it? PEACE

  • I think the drone will keep an eye on Americans escaping to Canada!

  • The Indian movie, "Lagaan", is about Cricket. Check it out.

  • About the girl.. hmmmm, she looks like a complete smart-arse being precocious for the sake of being precocious, but not actually having any ideas to back it up with. I mean, when asked why, she said it was because she doesn't agree with anyone telling her what to do... thats kinda pointless. Maybe it was the chewing gum throughout but I just didn't warm to her point of view!

I like the starting off with something humorous by the way!

  • I watched the pledge refuser video. I side with the girl. Watch this watch?v=lA-zdh_bQBo TEDtalks Barry Schwartz, We stopped being wise.

  • Well it's actually less when priced in real money terms. Gold in 1933=$35, 02/2009=$980, therefore $1 in 1933=$0.035 today. That's right less than 4 bloody cents.

  • I'd like to encourage everyone to read the latest Market Ticker (market-ticker. denninger. net)

    a very interesting read.

  • Right now it's looking like a big "No". Swedish Krona seems to be in trouble I notice. Germany's exports tanking - and as for the British, they're too busy printing money to comment.

"The UK, Germany and Sweden have reacted coolly to calls for $6bn (£4.2bn) of aid from US car giant General Motors."

    BBC, 18 Feb 09

  • But can we rate the world's credit rating agencies?

    Past performance about 1/10?

  • Maybe not THE most popular but by far the most popular in the Indian sub-continent (India, Pakistan,Bangledesh) so that's 1.5 billion for starters.

  • Cricket? Isn't that like prehistoric baseball? Is it really the most popular sport on earth? I thought it was soccer (football)...

  • Naaah - It's baseball on Valium.

Most popular? Depends on who you talk to, and I don't wanna get in a fight ;-)

    Peace

  • Oooh look - you got a thumbs down on that one LOL. Mind diss'ing Cricket in an international forum... ;-)

  • Cricket actually looks like it might be kind of fun. I must still have some of that old British hemogloben coursing around in these red-blooded american veins.

Still, you have to admit, the old sport simply has to be the origin of baseball.

  • Drones to control the border with Canada. Wow, that a real joke!!!

  • ha ha i acutally broke apart a us dollar to make this point, hell I might vid response it even though you saw it. but this is so simple to understand... sigh!

  • Mike, I've done some extensive research into these drones, they are stationed in North Dakota, 26 total, 4 are for recon and the other 22 are for COMBAT, they are equipped with weapons. There are also roughly the same amount here in Arizona along our border, with the same number ARMED for COMBAT. These all were started over the last several years. SCARY STUFF.

  • Keeping people out or keeping people in?

    VERY Scary Stuff!

  • Cricket, humpf .... FUTBOL is the WORLD SPORT

  • Soz - meant that to be 'english speaking world' - mainly the colonies I guess :-) Not really much into sports LOL

  • to nationalise the big ("toxic") banks is a short and direct way into national bankrupties.

  • Hey Mike....when the economy does 'officially' tank...what will happen? I mean, what does it really mean....what can we expect and what is the BEST way to get prepared...I mean, i've been preparing for 2 years now with food, medical and stuff...but what more should i get prepared for...electricity, water, etc...?

  • sorry for the interuption.

    1) buy gold, buy silver

    2) do nothing

  • Walk through your day and write down everything you do and touch. That's what you NEED. Plan from there. Water is critical; don't expect it to come out of the taps if the SHTF and electricity is gone - how do water pumping stations work with out power?

I personally prefer Silver to Gold but they're both good ideas.

  • Yes silver is a very good deal.

I started with gold because that is something one would do out of instinct. Then i saw the videos of Davinci and i started to buy silver. And because if you look at the pricecharts of gold versus silver. silver always follows (or at least a lot of times) the progress of gold (both go up, both go down) but silver goes in more percentages. And silver is a lot cheaper. Buy maybe small rounds, for example maple leafs.

  • Yes water is very important. So i bought a lot of mineral water bottles. Maybe nothing happens, no problem, i can drink them anyway.

And buy canned food a lot, i did.

And a good idea what FeverIAm said: walk through the day and write everyting down. I forget to write it down and miss things. I will start now.

I also buy extra because i might help family, who probably do not have a clue now and do nothing. So my house is looking like a combination of Ford Knox and the Walmart.

  • ROFL!

  • Does anyone have an explanation why the price of gold is in a steep rise at the moment?

    I have no clue.

  • Investors rushing out of stocks into Gold and Treasuries.

  • but what`s about the T bond and Treasury bill bubble

  • It'll break soon - be careful

  • thanks a lot! I agree. And there is a lot more pain to be seen on the financial market and economic system.

  • they have 2 choices. allow deflation to bottom out eventually making it harder for the gov. to pay its debts...............or you can inflate your money and pay the debts easily. unfortunately for us the first choice is best while for governments, the second choice is best.

  • When Spain were still sailing with gold they found in the Aztec region, they had greater credit ratings.

  • And they inadvertently devalued their own money supply LOL.

  • Yep - you would have gagged !

  • I had it in my head the other day :-)

  • The video:

Good for her! I wish we had more people like her in this country. A very brave girl who I feel will do some great work in her life. The ingredients are there.

  • I watched the video as you asked, and its sad that that is going on here in the US. I know I had a similar experience with pep assemblies (I wouldn't go even though they tried to force me so I was sent to detention). We also had one girl of the Latter Day Saints (I think) who sat during the Pledge as well. I think this was a good stand on free speech, but I'd be more interested in seeing if the story of the child who was reciting the pledge to the picture of Obama was true.

  • LOL - I'm still getting some odd ones over the bottom of the videos - but mostly just end of the world as we know it!

  • I love watching this video and randomly seeing at the bottom "Is tony blair sexy?" ha ha

  • Is that an ad for Specsavers then?

  • Do you think Sterling will ever be called "Quantitative Easing" ?

And the Dollar change it's name to "Stimulus Money" ?

Theoretically it could work you know - after all, the Americans _did_ put a Man on the Moon ...

  • LOL - Actually in the US Bernacke is calling it 'Credit Easing" and "Monetary Easing"

    Peace

  • 1 more question mike, whats the % of money printing incress,, i know the usa was up 90% in incress

  • I know it's out there somewhere - I'll go on a hunt!

  • Things in Greece are getting worse each week.

Two weeks ago the army refuse to obey the orders of the goverment. You would think that is a big enough event for the news to cover. Not a word... Its pathetic, the world is starting to revolt and the tv is telling you nothing.

  • It is spreading fast, and no coverage... guess they don't want to give anyone ideas?

    Peace

  • You explaned your money thing well for the dope smokers they can think in Henry the Eighth's lol

  • If that interview is for real she is a brave young woman...good for her.

    (Shame about the Schiff advert)

  • (Couldn't do anything about the Schiff ad.)

She is brave! The Constitution supercedes any other laws in the US.

  • how much do u get for advertising in the corner

  • Not very much if no one clicks the ads LOL I'm not 'allowed' to discuss exact figure, and besides - I have yet to figure it out!

Let me put it to you this way - to replace my current salary I would need to be putting out 10-20 videos a day and getting 5 times as many views on them. Not gonna happen ;-)

Nothing to write home about. I'll probably save it for my kids.

    Peace

  • Well done. Nice job of providing the links. Knighted in Antigia...clas act all around. I'm on my way to saskatchewan so I'm gonna be watching for that drone. Lol. Hellfire baby. Give it to me !

  • A whole lot more, or a whole lot less?

Also, check out what's going on in Gualaloupe (and Martinique).

    Good posting, as usual.

  • You didn't mention the UK kissing problem!

    watch?v=alrWfRXAyYg

  • Oh my word! Well it is Warrington - my brother lives up there; must get him on the phone! Bet it was one of nieces that kicked that one off! LOL

  • The guy with the £40 million fraud can start worrying bad. In this kind of cases, it is much better to think big. Usually, people as they are addicted to competition and stuff are more lenient with people who perform at an exceptional level than with people who are just common. In the US, it is pretty clear: being a serial killer with a 40+ murders list can earn you lifetime while killing somebody in a fistfight at a pub can earn you death penalty.

This guy is going to be reminded this hard.

  • Very true! I bet Madoff will be sunning himself in some very nice location; while Mr. Freeman will doing hard time at Belmarsh!

  • A lovely Paraguay beach, side by side cabanas with Ken Lay!

  • we have crickit here to, I steped on one that was keeping me up last night. LOL good job , remember, it's only money

  • "LOL good job , remember, it's only money "

Actually, it is much more than money. A monetarist approach, the one that most people prefer at least in the first world, has one big advantage: hiding the issue of the debt repayment terms.

Most people are expecting a default in the monetary system. It wont happen. This ado has one merit: hiding the default that has already occured: in productions. Countries with mass monetary savings are blocked with them in fear of crashing the system because

  • of a shortage of goods to put in front.

Default has already happened and is hidden behind monetary discussion.

Now one phenomenum to follow: injection of USD by the US. China and India could inject trillions of USD in the system but they wont because it will crash it. Yet the US is doing the same and it has not crashed and probably wont crash. Same behaviour, different outcomes. It is going to be interesting.

  • Well I guess our forefathers would probably stand for the pledge...(I'm thinking yes...lol)

but.....I think they would also say that they fought for the right of that little girl to stay seated if she so chooses.

    Thanks for your vids....love em!

  • Thanks as always mike.

On the girl, I have mixed views I suppose.

She lives in a free country where she is free to make her own choices.

On the other hand, I think many kids these days are learning very little about respect and honor.

Kids need positive role models and there tend to be very few these days. So maybe all of us adults need to strive a little harder to be that for them.

  • I too am of a mixed mind.

She does look like a respectful girl - but one who "chooses" to respect rather than blindly accepting that "respect" is warranted. With the behaviour of the US government recently is it any wonder? I personally think she should be able to stand up for her right to dissent.

The comments on the video are very interesting too!

    Peace

  • Re: QE....broad money is being destroyed greater then QE will create. You need to rethink your analogy and reeducate your kids ;)

  • I am only talking M1; M2 and M3 are a totally different story...

  • newly created M0 (british narrow money) doesn't chase goods and services.

  • dont forget fever, that makes sence and they never use anything that makes sence to make sence of something. That would be a free market system and we dont want that

  • the drone is keeping americans from feeling north when the SHTF.

    good report.

  • Thanks Mike... great information... again. God Bless!

  • Unmanned probe on the the Manitoba border? LOL What are the chances of an unmanned probe flying along the Manitoba border hitting another flying unmanned probe?

  • ROFL - very high this week for some reason!

  • Mike the Dollar is backed by Oil, you can only buy oil using Dollars

  • The Dollar is backed by Oil? So the U.S. can't print more money unless it's backed by more oil? That's cool.

  • A very good point - but there is no 'reason' for this (other than the panic and war that switching would cause).

  • They must have lost there minds if there going to put more money into the system like this! Call me think but what good is it going to do apart from devalue the curancy?

  • Blame Keynes...

  • A pattern is starting to emerge here - both Madoff and Stanford appear to have used their high profile philanthropy as 'bait' to attract their rich socialite friends to invest in their schemes.

  • WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Federal regulators said on Wednesday they do not know the whereabouts of billionaire Texas banker Allen Stanford, charged with "massive" international financial fraud, federal regulators said on Wednesday.

"We are unaware of his whereabouts," SEC spokeswoman Kimberly Garber said from Texas. Asked if Stanford may be outside the United States, she said, "Certainly that's a possibility but we don't know."

  • Uh - duh? Of course he's in hiding. Wonder how long for...

  • I found it odd..no house arrest like madoff? Didn't realize it was a "duh" moment

  • Sorry - I wasn't very clear. That's the SEC saying 'duh' :-)

  • No worries - i have a few DUH moments, so I took it in stride - thanks for clarifying ;)

  • Thinking on r's lines... That story looks like the cover distraction story for the MBIA story that's gone under the radar (see my earlier comment for link).

Unless of course Britney does something silly... or A-Rod...

  • Great point! The MBIA story is way bigger than him - but I couldn't just ignore it :-(

  • Lost in the news...

MBIA Splits Off Municipal Bond Insurance Business

    bloomberg. com/apps/news? pid =20601087 &sid =abSP6pBQEc6Q

MBIA is a huge insurer of credit default swaps. They used to be exclusively municipal bond insurers in the past.

If I've learned anything from r's journals, then we are to expect a huge debasement of CDSs... and/or other fancy credit derivatives.

  • Starting from Europe...

  • I thought soccer was the most popular?

    Sorry --> football.

  • Believe it or not fishing is the most popular 'sport' in England. I kid you not

  • Sorry, meant to say 'english speaking world' - football is the worlds favorite sport!

  • Mikey, I don't want to know the rules of cricket....and I have no life what so ever...lol

    However.......

    I do enjoy your videos....: < )

  • Sadly I broke my ankle a few years back. Had to spend a month on the couch while it healed. As I wasn't about to dull my mind on soaps, I started watching the cricket... and was totally confused! So I pulled up the rules and read them.

Still totally confused by the game LOL!

  • haha machine gun to a two year old. love it

  • WOW, did I miss something? I see no ad in the corner, did you change you mind ? A good thing if you did.

  • I released the video before they had 'checked it'...

  • When I saw the cricket story on the news tonight, I just knew that you would have to pick up on it. lol.

I have to say that my favourite politicians reaction was Prescott when he hit that guy years ago.

  • Pity there were no cameras at Mandelson's speech...

  • hello mike,

you have a way with words.

    love your videos.

    peace

  • First!!!!!! I cant believe. I made it on this channel too.
