just dont paste it to the track all the way. paste it only to first chunk, edit its properties, place it (as in 16th minute) and then increase its time to show for whole vid (drag the right corner of it to the end of ur vid). And it will be placed there with same attributes

Thats cool! another way to make a water mark is to create a watermark to go on your papers on microsoft word, then take a screen shot of the water mark on the paper, then paste into paint to cut out the exact shape of the water mark, then import it into your video editing progrma and key out the white and you'll be left with a semi-transparent watermark! It's easy and doesn't require any software out of the ordinary!

Interesting video but Vegas Platinum can natively do 90% of what this video goes into. Just use some compositing and opacity; add a graphic TIFF file if you want.

TIFF's will not be transparent but you are right movie studio will do a bug too

Sure TIFF's can be transparent: just drop the opacity 20% or so. I did it for a client, no problem. Guess I'll have to load camtasia and do a video reply on it. :)  Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing you, you have some great videos!
