I miss the 80's.... music, style and the innovation the country had! So glad I was a teenager then! We miss you Ben, but I'm so happy The Cars are touring again! Rock on!!
It's great to find this! MTV showed this New Year's Eve 1984. Once again a live version that's better than the studio version! Definitely my favorite live Cars song!
Yes, this is a wonderful full-length version of this concert hit. If i had to choose my fave Cars song (album version and live version) i would have to go with 'Cruiser'. It was on a friggin' awesome album cover to cover! Merry Christmas Everyone, and please release this awesome concert on Dvd!!! One of my favourite concerts of all-time, they were cruisin' fast and hot. Happy Holidays!
Thanks for posting another version of this video with the pink car stuff at the beginning. Other versions didn't have that. I would say this was one of their best rocker's they played when you consider it comming from a real late album. They all look like they are enjoying themselves, especially Greg on keyboards and Elliot on Lead guitar.
Great to see Ben Orr at center stage kicking ass and being sooo cool!
Love Ben's intensity at 4:02. But then again, love Ben's everything!

@MINUTEMANHUNTER
It's an 8 string. Body looks like a Washburn but the peg head is unique. Not sure what it is.
