  • I'm 37 yrs old and I will still ask the dj to play this song gets the party started

  • So Dahl

  • I was born in 1988 and this is my dad group. He used to dj for sex machine. I'ma relative of the late great Jimmy Hendrix. Now it's my turn to takeova and bring back REAL HIP HOP music.

  • The shout outs at the end make this so original and local. South Philly danga zone posse.

  • @ryanj929 dont forget G town...My part of town

  • REPRESENT PHILLY & CAMDEN!!! Still LOVIN it after all these years. UNDERRATED!!!

  • I'm still listening this in my car, volume at max, windows open and all the fake ass nowadays young "rap music lovers" are turning their heads. I hear them thinking: That grandpa is kickin it with some real hiphop, when I'm at home, I'm gonna ask my dad about this track"

  • this is my shit

  • Scratchin' on this joint is sick...

  • I used to love to hear that Roland 808 bass that used to thump from this jam back down in Florida where I'm from.

  • This jam was hella dope back in the day!!!

Yeah I like Philly. It's east coast but different from NY.

  • @hiphop4life24678 dj 2 tff the first dj techniq respect and peace ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;dek

  • Love this song! It's Legendarily Classic! Back from the era when a DJ ACTUALLY DID something other than played a record in the background and says every 3rd to 5th word the clown nowadays is saying. They don't make 'em like this anymore and in MY opinion the LAST song that showed what being a DJ to a hip hop act was all about.

  • The only rap song that comes close to this is Public Enemy - Rebel without a Pause.

  • This song has to be one of the best from the era....pumps me up everytime i hear it, and it's still played once a night at the clubs to this day, now that's saying something. Dj 2 tuff never really got any recognition but he destroys shit on this whole album, and when they played this on the radio all the time back in the day the dj's just had to play it cause they couldnt do anything else to it there is already a ton of scratching and its perfectly done! great tune!

  • I remember when i recorded this joint on the radio,dj red alert,98.7kiss fm, i was the first cat in my hood banging it, ( newburgh,ny ). My click's the only click still saying to each other,so-dam-tuff,til this day. Nb.ny

  • I live in Georgia and can remember when this was out and still playing it today. I like the philly stomp remix also.

  • philly stand the fuck up

  • I knew NOTHIN' about this song or crew till I got a compilation CD full of Philly rappers a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed this song. Reminds me of far gone days.

  • un pur classique
