Rino is the very best, there is absolutely no , question, sorry for Maurice Allard, but his Jolivet is actually not as good as Vernizzi's version!

Have you the chance to listen to Dag Jensen? Rino is the best in jazz maybe? Not really, because you have Paul Hanson and Michael Rabinowitz.

@fagottobrasil definitely! when I heard vernizzi's jolivet I was totally amazed... even if he didn't play the sextuplets like azzolini, the sheer dynamic force of his performance makes it stand out to me.. vernizzi has fingers of steel

Sorry , but for Jolivet , Maurice Allard is the best ! !, good sound, good music french, .........but Rino Vernizzi is also a great player .

@fredo76690  Those are my two favorite recordings of the Jolivet, (Allard and Vernizzi), they both seem to capture the moment for me, great style.
