I'm a second generation Star Wars fan. I laugh seeing this ad,but I can imagine what kids back then thought. Seeing an ad with kids playing, not an Austrailian guy imitating a Clone Trooper, is a better idea. Yes, kids half my age(about six) would remember the Clone Trooper voices and immediately want the toys. But the kids playing with the toys is hard to explain. I kind of like the idea. I'm suprised they don't mention that the rocks and stuff aren't included. At least people were smart, then.

I'm surprised that Kenner didn't re-do some of the older figures once they began using more cloth accessories and hand-held lightsabers. Figures like Obi Wan, Vader, Lando, Leia, etc. looked very dated next to the post-ROTJ figures.
