Networks don't keep a show running on the same time slot for years like they did with Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley. As soon as the rates dip a tad, the show is moved around to another slot and the next thing you know, it is cancelled. Ahhhhh the changes in the broadcasting world today.

This is something I would LOVE to see. The shows as they were originally aired during their first run. With the commercial breaks as they originally were.

thats funny! I just seen this episode of lavern and shirly it just ended like 2 minutes ago about the mortician. it was on channel 56 kdoc los angeles. Oh I miss these shows brings back so many memories. I was 9 years old when this episode aired.

I love Happy Days. I'm 19 and I grew up watching Happy Days...well the re-runs. I don't think I ever saw Laverne and Shirley and I know I've been missing out. I do know that Laverne and Shirley made frequent appearances on Happy Days and they were funny and I bet their show was even funnier aswell.

These shows would have been followed by Three's Company then Taxi. ABC used to crush the competition with this lineup on Tuesday nights.
