I have to agree about the combat odds in civ 4. I once had a battleship with about a 99% chance of victory get knocked out by a goddamn galley lol. I mean seriously? The battleship wouldn't even need to fire it's guns just run the damn wood ship over.

The AI and combat systems in Civ 4 cheat like hell--one time I was technologically way ahead of everyone else and devoted all my cities to producing military units. I looked at one of my lower-scored rivals and he had a whopping 35-40 riflemen and SAM units in one city--in a small civ with no railroads and few resources!
Thank you for this, it helped relieve some of the anger, frustration and disapointment. Now I know why this is so cheap to download/buy, the game is a hunk of shit.

Stalin killed 50-60 million. Both tried eliminating religion, too. Hitler only tricked Christians and perverted Christian teachings. Don't get me wrong, though, the guy was terrible, but his deeds aren't as bad as Stalin's and Mao's, and they're in the game. What's up with that?

Germany is very strict about what content it allows that contains Hitler. If he had been in the game, it would have lost the German market altogether.
That said, they COULD have released a separate Hitler-free version for Germany and allowed access to him for everyone else, but oh well.

@SuperBookworm101 Well, if you bothered to read what I just wrote, you'd realize that slaughtering people for being religions is another thing they did wrong, and seeing as you'd like Christianity eradicated, I don't think you would be much better than they were. If you look at the numbers, they killed a lot more people than Hitler and his war in Europe did. They were definitely worse. If they're putting those two in, why not Hitler? How about Castro and Che? They were murderous thugs, too.

Germany is very strict about what content it allows that contains Hitler. If he had been in the game, it would have lost the German market altogether.
That said, they COULD have released a separate Hitler-free version for Germany and allowed access to him for everyone else, but oh well.
Also, Genghis Khan takes the cake. There were fewer people in the world and technology to commit mass murder with was less developed, so he didn't kill as many people but he was far more pure evil

@rhinnawi95 Well, Stalin and Mao can at least be understood in the sense that they did it for power, but same can't be said for Hitler killing Jews. Also, while the Holocaust gave no lasting benefit to the German people, Stalin and Mao are not without redeeming legacies, without Stalin's brutality, Soviet Union probably would not have achieved the level of industrialization it enjoyed in WWII, and Mao, all else aside, is the leader that united a country torn apart by a century of strife and war.

@TelpPov I would outlaw political parties, all they do is cover for eachother and make deals under the table which breeds corruption. MY system would give each candidate a set amount of money and have them debate, the opinion polls will knock out the weaker candidates and leave only the top five which everyone then votes on, all elected officials recieve a salary with a bonus that reflects their job approval and if it's too low, they aren't eligible for re-election, RULE BY THE BEST FOR THE JOB
