I cannot believe a duo this talented produced just two albums! I caught this video on VH1 Soul last night as I haven't heard this track in years. As far as the "low point" of where we are musically right now I agree with all of you. The question is how do we get back to the way music used to be?...my answer is it's up to us to share this art with our kids. @Simplycg09 They did. Unfortunately, their second album for Motown, the criminally slept on "Saturday Night" got little to no promotion. Really, most albums on Motown from the '95-'98 period didn't get any promotion due to the infamous Andre Harrell. He spent more money promoting himself instead of the artists on the label.

@chrishotspot Yeah, Andre Harrell screwed over some great talent when he ran Motown. I'll never forgive him for what he did to Mario Winans' album "Story Of My Heart". That album should have been huge and he just did not promote it at all. In fact, during his tenure, only two albums at Motown were certified with an RIAA certification: Johnny Gill's "Let's Get The Mood Right" and Boyz II Men's "Evolution".

Not trying to be sappy or anything but....I started to date late in life and my husband happens to be my first love....never experienced romantic/intimate love before him. When I realized my feelings were what being "in love" must be, this is the song that was coincidently out at the time...I use to listen to this song over and over in my room and think about him....how I would find the courage to say "I love you" to him.....That's all. :-)
