I like how every performance she gives is unique because She is doing the whole thing as she goes along. Keeping all those pedals straight and having the right timing isnt easy. I for one, am glad I now know of her. Her life spark is very bright.

this same song is probably a little better at home, and in The Basement in Nashville, but I can't imagine the pressure of doing it live on TV like this - bright lights, goofy audience messing you up, she's still amazing..

I think I like her better in jeans, she just seems more at home and looser..

don't mind the "racialized" beat comments, I used to sing in my church choir, then sit on granny's porch in Macon Ga and listen to the black gospel choir across the street for another 2 hrs

ps- the white choirs just sang the music, made it solemn like classical music, the gospel choir felt the music from their souls and had much more rhythm and natural feeling, and I much preferred listening to them perform - it felt like 'real church', and they didn't run out at noon like we did, they sang and celebrated until they were spent, usually after about three hours.. (my church goers would complain if 'late for lunch', like a pack of dogs!)

lol.....i agree most of the time white people can't keep time. Especially in church......yeesh. In this case, I think the fault is with the sound. What we're hearing is through the monitors. The audience is listening through the PA, which has a slight time delay, much like at a football game. You'll notice a slight delay from cheerleaders to the crowd.

I'm a big fan of Theresa. I hope she gets the rewards she deserves. And they are clapping on the 2 and the 4...or at least trying. lol
