Interesting to compare 13-year-old Fliegner's performance here to 11-year-old Allan Bergius's. Bergius's voice is more beautiful to my ears, though Fliegner's is riper, more developed, and he also has the technique to take the aria at a brisker pace. Being older and therefore bigger, with greater lung capacity, he can also manage longer stretches between breaths.
