  • what happened at the start

  • i just finished rereadin HHB, and it goes over how Susan is a "typical grown-up woman", staying at home from the battles...etc, while Lucy is one of the archers. ur soooo right about her character!

  • happy birthday asshole

  • I guess that means that you're not a Harry Potter fan either...cause if you are...then you're a major hypocrite. And the reason why children are the heroes is because it's a series of children's books. We are fans of the series because we loved the books as children. Silly person...

  • I actually am a big of fan that franchise too. But it's interesting, because the ringbearer and his hobbit entourage is child-sized...and he is the one best suited for the task. And before you say, cause I know you will, I'm fully aware of the fact that the fellowship was made up of adult sized heroes. But so are the companions of the Narnia children. Yes, adults are much better heroes...but you underestimate the power of children.

  • ok, children arent mentaly or physicaly equipped to handle the situations there are put in in stories like this. the hobbits are fully grown men, even though they are smaller. not to mention the hobbits dont do too much fighting excluding the random bits.

  • I agree with you only partially about the power of children, because you are right. But I have seen and heard stories from around the world about some extraordinary child heroes. However the one point of all of this that both of us must remember is that Narnia and HB is in fact FANTASY, not reality:) These stories make children feel not so unimportant and allow them to dream of being something special. I don't think that's a bad thing. Do you? Thanx for the discussion, spyne666!

  • if you beilieve that than your full of bullshit. I'm a writer and i know a good book when i see one.

  • Who cares about the special effects, the duel scene looks more loyal to the book than I imagined! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • am i the only one who is hyped over this new trailer!!!!???

  • no. trust me!

  • I know. The special effects look rather fake. It's like it's not even narnia. Like peter's backflip,Aslan jumping, and a bunch of other stuff. It's really sad.....):

I'm so nervous.I'm so worried that i might suck which sadly i think it might.....):

    I really don't know.

  • ok. i just watched the trailer 4 the 1st time, and it took everything in my power to keep from hyperventilating. i recently discovered ur videos, and i found myself agreeing with every single one of ur opinions about what makes Narnia Narnia. the 1 thing i also noticed though, was the fact that, through all ur griping about Susan fighting, u never mentioned her title: Queen Susan the Gentle. which, if u remember, in the book, was given to her after her reign, not at the coronation of the movie.

  • I actually was impressed with the special effects; gave me goose bumps. Also, with the competition of summer blockbuster Indy 4 on their tail, I'm assuming they needed to market the action spots. I think it's so cool they are putting a current twist to a classic story, otherwise it could come out hokey by today's standards. Don't get me wrong; I love to curl up with these books, and get lost in my imagination, but I like my heart to pound in cinema.

  • Your face WAS priceless when the video started playing at the end. Hehe! Yes...I was a little disapointed in the trailer myself, and as I was watching it, I kept saying to myself, "Please don't let this be the theatrical trailer...please!" But I did like the shot of Aslan jumping on the telmarine, and of Lord Glozelle(?) staring into the river god's face.

  • how old is your little brother ?

  • do u have yahoo IM ? it sounded like it atr begingin

  • The twitch you do with your head is so cute...sorry, I couldn't resist saying that. XD

LOL At the very end that one Narnia video started playing and the look on your face was priceless.

Wow, I forgot that you work. I think these Narnia vlogs sorta bring out the kid in you, so I forget that you're a really young adult at times. ^^; Don't you work at a Christian bookstore? I thought you mentioned it in one of your vlogs.

  • ...but the Bulgy Bear sucks his paws!! ^^ I'm happy, at least for that. :D

  • Don't feel bad, GPuddle, my first viewing was in youtube quality. It was awful, I was so impatient to see the trailer! But luckily my later viewing were in wonderful 480P! Not as good as 1080P but good enough!

  • There weren't any shots of Reepicheep in the trailer... Goodness, the TV spots showed us MUCH more...

Well, there's still the super trailer?

  • Anticlimactic.

  • I thought the effects were really good.

  • me2! it was intense!

  • My only complaint would be that we didn't get to see enough of the characters interacting with each other. We also didn't really get to see any minor characters. And the only thing we saw were fighting scenes.

  • well, I guess we have to wait for the final cut, after all it had to be a "firework" trailer cause the time is near and it should attract a part of the audience that is not necessarily a Narnia fan (but would love to see an action packed film~and then get the deeper meaning of the story)

  • I just saw the trailer I definetely liked that whole bell tolling thing, but yeah it seemed like a teaser trailer (only ironically we get this AFTER the first one, lol)

  • you have a job???????????

    and where'd you download it?

  • that "narnia is about to be annihilated" audio is probably nikabrik...

    just a guess though
