  • i heard the ocean under europa's surface ice was actually warm, thanks to the planet jupiter, either from the friction caused by the gravity effect the planet has on the moon or the radiation from the planet which i am lead to believe the ice layer prevents from getting down to the sea underneath. its quite possible that some form of life might live down there, i thought they were to send a probe to land on europa, what became of it??

  • Not enough funding and many believed that Mars was worth the money, not some little moon.

  • thats a shame, cos there's a good chance of something down there under that ice. those "little moons" are some day gonna be the next destination after mars, then we'll see

  • there is life in europe for sure!! There are a lot of countries like Italy, france Russia

  • water is made up of hydrogen and Oxygen. H2O is water. so there is oxygen there. it might not have an atmosphere tho. Im not sure

  • actually europa does no really have oxygen and its water is 62 miles deep. This is a real fact

  • HELLO your showing pics of Earth

  • well, they dont know how deep the water goes, it could be as deep as 60 miles. regardless, the fact remains that liquid water is necessary for life.

  • but cold water sucks sir..take an exoplanet with a mean temp of 120F & you may have a species with a mean IQ of 300 sirs..

  • actually europa is a moon with oxegen and the surface is solid ice and then 16 miles deep of water. this is fact
