  • u still developing this ? back in the day i made a similar (not as good) engine in delphi and DX.. ive started programming again now but im java opengl :)

  • I'm on my first playthrough of Demon's Souls and if it had come out last year, it would have beaten Uncharted 2 as my Game of the Year!

    Btw, the demo looks very very cool, can't wait to see how it evolves. I was going to try and test out Newton on the Mac with SDL and FreePascal. Maybe I'll have time this week-end.

    How did your last game do? Did it sell well?

  • HI Sascha, Are you still using Delphi for these?

    Btw, have you played Demon's Soul on the PS3? If not you should get your hands on a copy and base some of your dungeon crawler game mechanics on what that games has. Very hard yet very addictive and the multi-player component is truly ground breaking ( at least I've not seen it in other games in this genre ).

  • Yeas, of course it's still Delphi, although I'm already doing some stuff with FPC.

    And yes, I played Demon's Souls. Heck, I completed it five times and it's one of the best games I've played on the PS3. I love the feeling of isolation and the fact that about every enemy could kill you almost instantly. And since it's never been released in the EU I imported the korean version that's luckily with english text and voiceover.
