RPG, a.k.a. role-playing game, the only way you can understand the story and feel as if you were the character is through the dialogs, talks and interactions with NPCs. All the RPGs I've played are like this. Dragon Age series, Mass Effects series, Final Fantasy series, and, certainly, The Legend of Heroes. I don't see any problem with such plentiful stories, talks.

***i play this RPG games, there is something wrong on this game... too much talk in the story, no problem in the graphics but if you go in the town and explore you cannot get any items or treasure chest.. sorry to say its very Boring to play.. i play a lots of RPG

@lokomokoy Well, this IS advertised as an extremely story heavy RPG. If you can't take the talking, I'm sorry. That's the platform of giving the story to the players. You go to the towns to talk to NPCs and such... but I believe you're missing out- the Trails/Kiseki games have one of the most in-depth stories in any RPG ever.

@omgfloofy i understand what the stories flows, But i dont like too much talking in this game. you can't skip ang conversations. i like most actions,explore any towns to open the chest,talking to someone to get the free items,kill the enemies to get any gold/money. i Love to play most rpg games

@lokomokoy If you don't like reading that much, I figure that you probably might want to steer away from this game, and the rest of the series. This game has the shortest script of all five as of now. (there's a sixth around the corner)

@omgfloofy thats the thing with people nowadays. no one wants to use their brains. such a deep and emotional story, and all these idiots want are big guns, bigger boobs and flashy skills. tch, and people blame the producers for not bringing more of these kinda gems over to NA. how can they when they know almost eveyrone there is addicted to speed.

@lokomokoy well.. the RPG game you played was different from this game.. for me this game is the best in terms of the storyline.. well i recommend you play it from the first game Legend Of Heroes I....

@lokomokoy if what you like is questing you should've gone to the guild's booth on every town and do the quests (not sure if you did that). That's how you get items, treasures, etc. Yes the game has a lot of story but it does have its sidequests. I'm not one to do many sidequests but I did notice that I left a lot of stuff undone. That said, it seems like you'd enjoy MMOs more.

@Redjoker96 It has been considered by a number of people as the best PSP game for 2011, actually. It consistently scored high in reviews and has fantastic work done with its story. I'd recommend checking it out.

true the character designs are a bit odd and strange and look nothing like how they do in the PC/PSP game,but the artwork still looks pretty good in my opinion,not the best,but could have been better.i'll be looking forward to this ova myself after I beat the first game,either way,estelle bright is still cute=D

@MrMirage1993 I hope the PSP isn't speaking to you. :D As for the game- there is voice acting in it- it's in battles only. Zero changed this with 'incidental voice acting' in the game. Now it looks like Ao no Kiseki will hav specific scenes with voice acting.

You know, for a 2011 anime, that's some pretty mediocre visuals, especially given how this was from a jrpg. I just hope the final release gets a Makoto Shinkai visual quality in the flashy scenes.

I couldn't care less about the art style of the anime if the storyline and show still turns out as great as the games were. Graphics are not everything, though much of the modern world seems to think so. This anime already puts into more fluid motion the things people have witnessed in the game--shouldn't you at least be grateful for that?

Anyhow, I digress. I love this game already, so I'm interested to see what they'll do for the anime :)

Cmon everyone! Just be thankful we're getting an anime adaptation and stop bitching about it's art style. We're lucky we're even getting a Trails in the Sky anime since it's a series that isn't really that mainstream to begin with. To me this looks very well made and it looks very fluent in an action aspect of it. I really hope we get chapter 2 and 3 of Trails in the Sky soon. I loved the first one so much!

And no, this wasn't released in March 2011. The PV is all there is for the anime at the time being. There's no new information posted on it, but I will keep posting any news I find on my website, esterior 'dot' net.

Given how this is made by an animation studio, I expected the characters to look better than in the games. Why haven't I seen any flashy high end graphics that's used by high tech equipment yet? Especially considering the time we're currently in.

Normally, Falcom is known for eschewing high-end graphics so that they can concentrate on better story and gameplay. While graphics can be an integral part of a game, I expect gameplay that is fun an enjoyable more than anything else. Why would it be called a game, otherwise?

I quite like the animation. I only dislike the rearranged melody, it's crap compare to the original. And the other thing that will go wrong will be the pacing of the story, as I doubt there will be enought episodes to cover both chapters.

@zellmer Being that I was mostly into anime in the 90's, and have become pretty ambivalent to the current anime? I don't think that's a bad thing, personally. Remember, stuff like Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Tenchi Muyo, Slayers, as well as a LOT of memorable anime series all came out in the 90's.

@zellmer Aside from what floofy already told you, "early 90s" only in feel, because some of these cuts are actually very well animated, in particular the action ones. As for the character designs, I'd say most of them are easily recognizable. Sure, it's simplified, but that's to be expected. Animators have limited budget and time to work on episodes for a TV series, and as such, drawing very elaborate designs for each frame is out of the realm of possibilities.
