  • Do the Namibian hunters receive in royalties for the knowledge they imparted for this programme.

  • I would love to live in a tribe like this, life is so simple.

  • Fuck hunting.

I would rather live in a jungle and just go eat and pick off some fruits and vegetables from the trees and bushes.

I have been living on an only fruit and vegetable diet for 20 years, and have had NO problems.

    A lot easier than hunting.

  • @CBasie2856 yeah, well thet dont live in a jungle do they.

  • @Hoooo33 you would probably just Die in that desert because you can't find anything to eat. They are not stupid

  • STUPID APES.

  • @Hoooo33 cant tell if trolling? or white trash...

  • id eat my shit if ray told me 2.

  • The only real inclination I would have to use a computer for is to stay in contact with family and friends as there are those that would prefer not to live a lifestyle of my liking. The internet is, of course, a tool in staying up to date with what is going on in the world (I don't mean superficial things because the internet is ridden with them) and learning new skills such as survival methods. I would have very little tolerance though for anything that reminds me of why I left.

  • This is what makes homo sapien sapiens the most perfect humanoid.

  • civilization doesnt just mean prolonguing life and cheating death- the single greatest accomplishment of civilization. it means happiness and peace of mind. These men are a shining example that traditional Hunting and Gathering is one of the most meaningful and enjoyable lifestyles. It is the natural way. Humans existed this way for the majority of our evolution. We are wired to be happy this way! Cvilization has its benefits but you cant deny there are many drawbacks-boredom, depression, etc

  • when they were moving towards their prey in single file and the first man signals them, kinda reminds me of swat, seals or sas. Primitive elite action force in action. lol

  • I wonder if Ray saw how the Nama "bushmen" put that water into that ostrich egg...last time I saw it, they sucked it out of a tuber and spat it into the shell. Yum!

  • ray mears is a bitch... he teaches you how to cook luxery salmon in a survival situation.... -.-

  • @PriiMaLOreo

There will be no UK in 2050, as what we now think of as the UK will be part of the Eurabian Empire.

  • Love these videos((:

  • Its beautiful to watch things like this. Takes you back a hundred thousand years to see what our ancestors could have lived like. Its simply amazing to see how far we have come. Lets just hope we don't go too far.

  • i dont see why they dont shoot the animal and run after it so the animals blood starts pumping causing the poison to move faster in its body

  • @dogman123andrew Because then they're using their own energy, and in that kind of life style, you want to save everything you can.

  • @TheSonofgun666 well ya but they still need to walk and track for an hour+ to find where it died

  • @dogman123andrew Walking for an hour is less energy than running for 15 minutes.

  • @dogman123andrew because poison doesnt kill instantly and animals can run much faster than humans. Doing what you said, th eanimal would most likely run off never to die and never be found. That is why its better to wait for the animal to stop and wait for it to die so they can retrieve it.

  • @dogman123andrew Like TheSonofgun said, they would be wasting a lot of energy by running after it. These are expert hunters, they know the most efficient way of killing animals and using every part of it so nothing goes to waste. As for tracking it for a long period of time, they know how to track the animal, and it's much more energy efficient than running after it for a shorter time.

  • i would not drink the same cup as them wtf is that white man thinking?

  • @ReverseInfliction88 trust me before he made that trip over he got ever shot available to prevent disease.

  • HENCE "FRUIT"

  • its the fruit of the land were to posses , no??

  • @joaofranco21 isn't it obvious? he was seeking for attention. no need to get sick over the net, bro

  • what they are eating? egg?

  • Really, the funny thing is we all started like this :] and you're actually looking at the people with the biggest chance to survive. Where the hell did you think your fucking happy meal came from? Happy treeland with pink unicorns?

  • @mylifeismetal666 really? poor animal? I'd hunt and kill any animal if it meant survival these people have been doing this for thousands of years and I think they will do it for a thousand more If the African population is destroyed by the HIV/AIDS. The animals of the Earth were made to nourish the other animals that hunt them it's the natural order of things get over your petty animal loving and get in touch with realities truth Animals get killed by their predators. end of story

  • The Africans who still live in tribes like they used to before the Europeans and Arabs came, are still having a good life. Those who got "Civilized" are suffering from HIV/AIDS, starvation etc.

If this is what civilizing means, then i will live the life of a barbarian...

  • @VictumRoManius LOL I didn't know barbarians had access to the internet.

  • @VictumRoManius Well said. I am well on my way to living a rudimentary lifestyle away from the self-absorbed media crazed world of man where I can provide for myself and not hand someone paper bills to give me processed and chemical treated food.

  • @ChameleonicRenegade Will you still use your computer?

  • @ChameleonicRenegade second comingg of christttt ahhhhhhhh

  • @VictumRoManius You can't live their life! you just say that!

their life expectency is like 40! you can die of flue

and imagine a pregnent woman wanting to deliver!

    imagine a toothach!

  • @OrganicKing My understanding is that most hunter gatherers life expectancy is closer to 60. Not as long as us but much longer than our ancestors from a few hundred years back.

  • hell with flesh eating humans meaning the real stupid monsters on earth.

  • @mylifeismetal666 Fuck you.

  • amazing video

  • that must be such a sick job, travelling all over the world, learning about different cultures.

  • Give them Justin Bieber! o.o

  • @mylifeismetal666

These poor saps in Africa (AKA Hell) have to hunt an animal for food and your only reaction is "poor animal" FUCK THE ANIMAL!!! THESE GUYS DESERVE BETTER!!! If they could buy a steak at the butcher like we do I guarantee they would but Africa is so fucked up that they have to live like the animals they hunt.

  • @NdzDJ

I love when somebody states the obvious on the internet, makes me have faith in the world again.

  • this is a joke ,after recording they get dressed and look therselves in youtube and facebook !

  • i bet all of them had aids smh dirty africans

  • @BigB0B911 Rofl Your a TV brainwasher idiot you'll believe anything wont you. Hey the sky is Purple today did you see it?

  • Lol, "who wants to sleep under the tree of hanging meat while lions prowl around?"

  • @maiere12 And who said that it's necessary to own a $4,000 carbon bow and arrows to hunt? Your sense of reality is as inaccurate as your comment. Perhaps you are using metaphors describing a napkin and a ketchup bottle as his $4,000 carbon bow and arrow to neutralize and slay a wild hamburger?

  • anyone notice how the guy says he'll stay out of their way but then the camera man is all up in their faces?

  • @vSladeProductions Have you ever heard of the zoom button?..

  • Muito massa esse video

  • notice how they did not show them shooting it.

    makes you wonder.

  • good bless...

  • i love ray

  • First off you guys who think you can just go to the bush and live this way you will probably die from lack of knowledge and skills very soon.

To the others who say "yeah then go and live that way idiot, what is holding you back" I would like to point out that it's almost impossible to live this way today, because all land is owned by someone.

Even those who are living this way are being forced to stop by the WWF and many become alcoholics because of that.

  • Isnt anyone else freaked out that its the 21st century and negroes are STILL hunter gatherers?

  • Nambia? looks like east london to me.

  • News from the Bushmen

  • Yep,,,,,,Antithropocentric,,, if you were an ass you would be valuble to these people, well, for a few meals anyway, but as it stands now,,,,,, your words are a little less than worthless, which probably is a big step up in the world for you. You Dumb Fucker saying HIV is an African only world problem

  • Im afraid you got it wrong Antihropocentric, the animal you see being killed is more valuble than you to these people, and why may you ask,,,, Fact, You are not a meat source to these people. Fact, you are not a income source to these people, Fact, you have never killed to live, fact you use the words "rifle slaughter" in a video that uses no rifles, fact, if you can do it,,,,,,, talk about it

  • Those who try to justify modern rifle-slaughter as "natural hunting" like this, are way off the mark. The efficiency of modern weapons has made a mess of once-viable animal populations.

That, plus massive human overpopulation that destroys so much habitat daily. Africa may have 2 billion people by 2050 if trends continue. Man is not even close to playing by nature's rules in modern times.

  • @Antithropocentric

No, in 2050 Africa will have no people unless they stop the spread of HIV disease.

  • @81broncoman yea and the high number of endangered speiced will drop dramatically without them hunting every thing they see

  • @MAVcreations

Screw the endangered species, the single most endangered species in Africa is humans.

  • @MAVcreations Kudu certainly arent endangered. and who gives a shit, they earn their meat.

  • @MAVcreations They hunt what they need never too much. If i recall corectly American Buffalo are endangered right. Yet the Native Americans hunted them all the time. You know what happend after that? Setters from europe arived and killed off all the Buffalo to sell thier fur. The reason we have endangered species isnt natives hunting for food, its greedy hunters killing them for profit.

  • @81broncoman there is a vacsine out that is helping Contain HIV about 50% of the people with hiv will beable to have HIV FREE children

  • @81broncoman

you mean south Africa ,Egypt will have people because they have clean people.and clean pussy

  • @SGVeseHopeless

wrong, muslims don't record AIDS deaths, because muslims don't get aids apparently, they only die of it.

  • @81broncoman The cia made aids in the lab, you really think it started from someone fucking a monkey lol

  • @homerunhydock

What possible good would releasing AIDS do for the CIA? HIV virus either came from fucking or eating a monkey, I suppose that the the flu, colds, smallpox, herpes, and other diseases were also products of the CIA, along with texting and bad diets.

  • I love Factory farming, all those antibiotics go into my body, from cheap healthy meat and I will probably live twice as long as I would have 200 years ago . Humans have a deep hunter, gatherer , scavenger instinct, in the past we would drive off predators to get what they had killed if we came across an easyier option situation instead of hunting . Have you ever wondered why we have dogs now? They were wolves once, but when driven off a kill by us, they had to hang around for the scraps.

  • @pe0147k7678 Wtf, you start off by telling a funny joke, and then randomly start spewing theories about... dogs?? Please tell me you don't actually believe that shit...

Btw, everyone already knows that dogs are descendants of wolves, but I say theories because no one knows exactly how wolves became domesticated, and it probably didn't happen all over the world in exactly the same way.

  • @cmommsen1 Lol Lol,,,,,, ok then,,,,, Wolves and wild dogs domesticated Humans, Cattle and Chickens domesticated humans as well, Cats domesticated Humans too, Oh ,,,,and the Canaries and Budgerigars domesticated Humans early on, and wild pigs domesticated Humans etc etc etc etc Lol Lol

  • @pe0147k7678 *confused*

  • سرت جوعان يوم شفت الغزال

  • Selling machine guns XD

  • they so small

  • How did they make FIRE? HOW HOW ?!?!? PLS TELL! With a wooden stick and some stone ?

  • they have my respect

  • los dioses deben estar locos!!!

  • Kudu, Oryx, Nyala....

  • I wish we all could go back to this way of living .

  • @ARTLKING

    LOL, you're a fucking idiot.

  • @joyfulvulture

and whats so bad about this way of living?

  • @wazman

uhhhh, qualitty of life maybe? exactly why all you dumb and delusional hippies arent living that way for real. nothing prevents you from doing it.

must be great being a big contradiction on two feet.

  • @joyfulvulture

i never said that i would like to live in this way myself so read the question over again

i was just asking why you thought you had the right to call someone a fucking idiot for something that didnt quite deserve it

your best answer was quality of life

quality of life is like taste in music, its only your opinion.

and i just love the way you label people

at least show a little respect

  • @wazman

quality of life is an hypothesis that makes a lot of sense, i.e. not something quite as subjective as music. go get an education then come back to me.

  • @ARTLKING

You are a fucking moron. If you want to live barely one step above an animal that's your decision, but you want US to willingly live at the mercy of the elements? You want to have to scrape for food, watch half of our infants die before their first year, have no medicine, communications, transportation, agriculture, or anything else that differentiates humans from feral beasts? My ancestors didn't develop everything we have so we could throw it away and hunt gazelle with a stick.

  • @81broncoman Well this is the way of life the Bushman lived. We should have to work for our food like the Bushmen instead of buying meat from a store. These people are to truly the people who hunt and recpet all of animals and revred them for giving them life. They also worship animals too. Today most of our meat comes from factory farms where animals are treated cruelly. It;s sad people don't care about how the animals were treated to get on to their plate. BAN FACTORY FARMING !!!!!!

  • @ARTLKING

Without factory farming YOU would starve, and any of those Bushmen would give their soul to be able to go and buy food for a pittance like we do. You know what the deciders between life and death are for these supposedly more pure, humane people? An injury, an infected wound, a drought, a disease, bad luck, or anything that renders them unable to hunt, and they would give anything for the technology you spurn. You, who has NEVER hunted for a meal in your life, should be ashamed.

  • @81broncoman Well Factory farming is cruel to animals and poses many risks to humans. Family farms are much better for they earth. Look at your local farmers market for human labels like cage free and '"Animal Welfare" approved or go vegan. I like to talk to people who hate factory farming for the treatment of animals on factory farms. Sadly you aren't one. P.S. I fished with my did and hunted fish. After we killed it we went home and cleaned it. We then cooked it. After that We ate it.

  • @ARTLKING

Whats it like to be a walking, talking contradiction? A human representation of hypocrisy? You, who rises and falls with filtered and climate controlled air, purified water, frozen and refrigerated food, antibiotics, pasteurization, and the rest, first thought that Man should go back to hunting with wooden spears even though you have NEVER killed an animal for food, and now you assert that vegan subsistence farming would be enough of a reversion all on the basis that its "less cruel"

  • I am going to make this clear. Factory farming is a cruel way of farming and is a waste. Antibiotics should never be used on animals in the first place. We also should not being destroying the air and go back to family farming and banning all factory farming ONCE AND FOR ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we should eat more veggies PERIOD !!!!!!!!! End of Discussion..

  • @ARTLKING

You poor stupid bleeding-heart hippie, I hope you may some day you will wipe the childish haze from your eyes actually see how the world actually works. You, who has never wanted for anything in all your life but still believe you know of the toil necessary to just eat on a subsistence farm without irrigation, fertilizer, antibiotics, or electrical power. I hope you some day grow up, but that seems unlikely.

  • @81broncoman I like electrical power. I know how the world actually works. I also like houses. Also you're the childish one because you don't care for the millions of animals suffering on factory farms. People like you need to grown up and see the truth about factory farming.I hope you some day grow up, but that seems unlikely.

  • @ARTLKING

You've apparently watched Chicken Run a few times to many.

  • @81broncoman The difference between the US and Namibia is stuff actually grows here!

And you should learn some history if you think native people and ancient tribes didn't have any of those things you mentioned.

  • @Bouchon211

Your mind has obviously been poisoned by the perverse idea of cultural relativism. Chewed roots, smoke signals, and pack beasts do not qualify as medicine, communications, and transportation, at least they haven't for 1000 years. If you want to applaud these people for living like the animals they hunt that's all to you, I sit back and wonder why they haven't even bothered inventing agriculture or the wheel.

  • @81broncoman It seems your argument is based upon this small group of hunter gatherers in Namibia, agriculture has been around for 10's of thousands of years it's not a product of the industrial revolution as you seem to think. And I don't condone living in a mud hut but society is needlessly wasteful and complex. We waste gas, paper products, plastics and chemicals... then throw them in the dumps and burn them let them fill the streets and rivers of third world countries.

  • @81broncoman And if they are 'animals' then you are a sheep.

  • @81broncoman Ugh,stop being an ass.Let the guys live how they damn please.

  • @81broncoman Agriculture was invented to feed growing numbers of people, and the skeletons of Native Americans from mesolithic cultures prove that the lack of protein that was synonymous with diets in mesolithic cultures caused health problems and nutritional deficiencies for many of their people. These Africans haven't developed or assimilated to the rest of the modern world because their way of life has been sustainable for them, and they've been able to sufficiently live "off the land."

  • @81broncoman you are soooooooo gonna die with your ancestors developments soon! you are actually the fuckin moron

  • @81broncoman yeah say that to the bumb tho fa real.. ied rather be a bumb out there than hear

  • @81broncoman You should put a plate in your lip. It would make you feel better.

  • i don't get it, they're creeping around slowly to sneak up on the animal, but at the same time the camera man is running around to get random shots of them, and the Meras guy speaks super loudly to the camera? I wonder if this guy just so happened to arrive in the tribe three months ago LOL

  • @RHIANNAKM Cameramen fuck everything up...They always have my dick out of frame when I spew cum into your mother's rectum...Lyrically. They also make it harder to sneak up on children.

  • @mackawack12346 how do you lyrically spew cum into a rectum? This was an amazingly failed trolling attempt LOL

  • Watch YouTube video of technothriller/alternative history of NAMIBIA based on C.J. Beck's novel SPIKED.

  • BadmanZyd dom kop!"they haven't had much luck hunting in the last 3 months, so im gonna stay well out of their way in case they eat me." Who said they are gonna eat you, dont u know that Khoisan people are not cannibals like the Arian White supremacy bull shit.

  • Tribal Leader: Whats the Situation?

Vizier: We are low on food sir!

Tribal Leader: Well sent out "The tribe's special forces"

    Vizier: What "Special Forces?"

Tribal Leader: I don't know i just heard that from this video :l

  • how uncivilized! almost animalistic! these "people" are biologically closer to the animals they hunt than to normal humans like you and me.

  • @minizendog they are probobly more civlilized than most of the world i bet they are very frendly and graceous host.just becase they have to hunt and kill theyre own food this way does not make them uncivilized

  • @minizendog shut up dickhead

  • @minizendog but of course you fool, what do you expect?? they are closer to the animals they hunt so they look-a-like (in a good shape) ..just as you are closer to the food you hunt i.e. Macdonald's ... that is why you are greasy and fatty just like a Machappy meal.... wake up to the world, moron!

  • @Oliveirex1 their bodies are how humans are suppose to look not fat not muscular. it look hardened by hard work

  • @Oliveirex1 lol,,,,,well sed,,,

  • @minizendog I can hardly believe that anyone could be so very ignorant and intolerable.

  • @minizendog racist.

  • @minizendog What a fatuous comment...

  • This is incredible. We in Western culture would do well to learn such basic survival tactics. Just in case.

  • The camera man on the other hand will get right in their way

  • those guys must be like, " wtf are you doin fool!!!! im trying to hunt here what are you doing taking a video of me!!!!!!"

  • @shiptech2k9 They probly got paid to let them film, and they will go to the market and buy themselves new shoes, or perhaps a beemer.

  • fucking niggers

  • well out of there way... and yet hes got the camera right in there face

  • "they haven't had much luck hunting in the last 3 months, so im gonna stay well out of their way, but all the camera men are going to follow them around with massive cameras and boom mics"

  • @ belleviewable

    @tacticaloperator12

Obviously neither of you know what you are talking about. Most San live in villages these days and buy their groceries in the local shop. They get the money they need by acting out their 'traditional way of life' for the tourists and doing stunts like the hunt shown in the video clip. As a vegan I approve the fact the traditional San diet is mainly vegetarian. I despise hunting for the cameras. It is cruel and pointless.

  • @MySplendid100 I as well figured this is what is happening. I am sure BBC paid them for bringing them on a hunt with them. At the same time I bet these tribes do the hunts whether or not people film or watch them, simply to preserve parts of thier culture that are dear to them.

  • them dudes are my cool

  • you might stay well out of their way but your cameraman stayed right in the open lol

  • @Blessedhart yea but when that cameraman was there it was mostlikey later in the day after thay killed it and thay are just acting like thay are going for it

  • did i see 50 cents or was that diddy @ 0:44?

  • Couldn't they just text the neighboring tribe to see if they saw a wounded Kudu runing by?

  • Hunting the kudu -- can take up to four days for the animal to die! Four days! This is barbaric. Traditional way of life or not, compassion demands they find some other way to make a living.

  • @MySplendid100

Dont you think factory Farmiing is more barbaric? this is how people survive without farming

  • @MySplendid100

Dont you think factory Farmiing is more barbaric? this is how people survive without farming

  • @MySplendid100 Are you serious? Tribes people like this have enough respect and compassion for nature to only take what they need. If you were stuck on the high African plain with a bow and drank groundwater out of a hollowed egg I'm sure you wouldn't care how long it took to die as long as you can sustain yourself.

  • @tacticaloperator12

Get real! Most San live in villages and get their supplies from their gardens or the local shop. Hunting is not necessary these days and usually occurs only to indulge tourists who want to feel they are in touch with a primal way of life. Pure self-indulgent fantasy. The traditional San diet is largely vegetable based. As a vegan I approve of that. I don't approve of hunting for the cameras of tourists.

  • @MySplendid100 Why do I care if your some hipster vegan? I like my steak bloody and my veal tender. I'm a carnivore, now you know. Again, go back to your warm and comfortable suburban home and shut the fuck up.

  • Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face, sent me here!

  • When they took the meat off and put it on the trees I almost barfed. Good for them for eating everything, but I know I would puke trying to eat that.....

  • @sammelina12 It's just as good as jerky =)

  • @Bungasch lol......i've never tried jerky :P

  • @sammelina12 Me neither, but I can speak about "Biltong", the dried meat they make in Southafrica and have to say it's really good=)

  • @Bungasch maybe so :p

but i just cant go kill an animal. like, if I looked at them first I would know I was responsible for killing it :(

  • ok

  • and then he goes to a hotel :)

  • ad ,,,,ad ,,ad every where fuckin sick of it

  • One of the things I love and admire about Ray is his simplicity! He seems to be a great human being!

  • @BadmanZyd lmao!

  • wonderfull life to bad im working on paper ina concrete jungle....

  • Its amazing to me that such an ancient lineage of people can still survive much as they always have for the last 40,000 years.

Kinda makes our own co-dependent moderen society seem fleeting and unstable by comparison.

  • @originaldriver that probs one of the reasons why they did not advance by technology cause the dont need it unlike Europeans they had to find a way to live cause of the cold and a reliable source of fire which lead to electricity ect...

  • @kcunit333 Its not so much the use of fire, tools or even social structure that brings about technological advancements in any particular society. In a word, its farming. Hunter/gathrer societies dont have any real agriculture and devote 90% of thier time to the challenge of child rearing, survival and coping with the elements.

    .

The practice of agriculture allowed other early civilizations to concentrate time and mental recources on something other than food and became advanced as a result.

  • "they haven't had much luck hunting in the last 3 months, so im gonna stay well out of their way in case they eat me."

  • @BadmanZyd

LMFAO!! i was waiting for him to say the ending, but he didnt haha nicely done xD!

  • @BadmanZyd wow what?

This is exactly how we lived 35,000 years ago.
