I should have known, but damn did those effects pull me in. I was horribly displeased. I felt like i was watching a really rushed dumbed down version of the series, that tried to be more dramatic than it was supposed to be. So many scenes just felt like he had to paste it in there somewhere with awkward reasoning, where it had nothing to do with the subject at hand

The middle was okay. The only part that had me interested was the end. NO SPOILERS! I actually paid attention to that part. Which is a good thing. I hated who they casted as the characters. Seriously, I was one of those racist bastards that wanted all the actors to look like they did in the cartoons. Kotara and Sokka looked black or at least white with a tan. Aang was white! I don't care if he looks asian. That boy is white. Zuko, was HAWT! Not, omg, what the fuck is that mutant cute... HAWT!

I LOVED the cartoon. Loved it! <3 I didn't care for the movie. Why'd I go see it? I'm a fan of the series, and I want to support it, no matter who does a crappy interpretation of it. (Hopefully I spelled that right.) The movie was okay to me b/c it had to depict the WHOLE first book of Avatar. Which was kinda slow. BUT, he didn't do a very good job with it. He did OKAY. The acting was bad, HORRIBLE even. Kotara, was the worst. (There was some good ones) SOME! I couldn't stand the beginning...

He was named, "Ahng" in the movie, not Aang, (Ayng). Eh, all the actors were wrong and Shyamlan or whatever just ruined something that had immense potential. Anyway, the movie was garbage, end of story. I do agree about not giving a shit about the characters, so haha. All of his movies suck and everyone knows it. Honestly, the MOST pathetic thing is that he didn't follow the names as they were in the show. EVERYONE in the theater went off as soon as they said, "Anhg". I just laughed.
