LOL, this is such a crazy idea. The drummer is amazing, can't say that the end effect does anything for me, but what a bizarre idea. Just for that I can appreciate it. Wild experiments by nature aren't going to get a lot of people, but cool to see the attempt at something original.

number one way to start hating Matt barney is to watch or read an interview with him. I wouldn't even classify any of his work as art after understanding where this all comes from. It's pretentious to say the least, and as person with some artistic ability, I have to say that the whole drawing restraint thing was stupid as hell. He hangs a piece of paper on the ceiling, then jumps up to make each stroke. But the result is a very very poorly drawn vagina...ALWAYS. Is that really worth anything?

the concept is a concept, this argument will inevitably lead to the realization that art is subjective. Someone might say a dog taking a shit was an act of art. I would clearly disagree with them. Barny is a joke to me, I have seen his exhibitions live, I am not judging without knowledge. If you take away Barney's money, his art would end, that to me is not a real artist. I simply judge artists by passion, talent, and whether or not the art says something to me. barney has none of the above.
