I don't understand why half of the internet is illiterate... This video was uploaded over two years ago, Feb. 16, 2008.

The game was released (in Japan) Jan. 31, 2008. The earliest this could've been played is about TWO WEEKS after release... Of course the players aren't going to fight like professionals.

Jesus guys as the guy who commented before me says (IcySeaSurfer) look when it was uploaded. Also some tournament organisers like the idea of "no holds barred" and thats probably how this tournament was set out to be like.

One other thing because this tournament people on JAP versions of the game and trained with the GC controller. Did you see they played with the classic controller. They where obviously made to play with that. The organisers probably wanted something new.

this guy playing ike is terrible, all he does is spam aether, ikes forward B and his 3 hit combo. completely neglects ike's eruption attack, his counter, his aerial moves are super effective, especially against a light character like kirby who flies a lot. it's amateur lame ass players like this who give ike a bad reputation as a "one trick pony", this character has a lot more depth than most people give him credit for. go back to training mode you fucking disgrace
