this is fantastic, i especially loved the way that you didn't make the whole room pitch black, like i know alot of animators would have done.. you left it so you could see the chair and the alarm clock and stuff... nice touch. :P overall (for a first) superb!

It takes a lot for me to find CGI stuff funny, but I was in stitches with this. This is beyond brilliant! The environment is fantastic, I really love it. The animation is great and the humour is superb.

That was fun too watch! Build nice tension there! You knew there was gonna' pop up something eventually!

Just a little advice though. I though his room was too messy for someone that looked that neurotic. I know a messy room looks cooler and more detailed, but it doesn't suit the character.

Just another thing I would have really liked to see: it would be great if he shined the light over the camera, so the viewer would feel even more that he was there!

@Aniforce i have to disagree(just my opinion on your opinion :P) i tought the room was a bit messy but it was organized chaos and adds live to the scene. mt only crit (and this could just be me) is that you had all this probs and didnt do alot with :P, but that aside great shot and cool

Depend on what you like. I heard host of the motion graphic companies here (Netherlands) use Cinema4D.

@walkerk19 The whole animation is made with 3D Studio Max. Cinema 4D is a great package to do motion graphics but it's limited in Character Animation. For our character animation we used CAT which is a plugin within 3D Studio Max

Aaah, I assume Cinema 4D is great for animation because my friend been using it for motion graphic (just like you wrote). But is 3DS Max better than Maya for animation? Or the plugin options is way better than Maya? thanks for answering!

@walkerk19 Max and Maya are both great packages each one having their own positive and negative features. At this moment CAT is only available for 3DSMax but for Maya you could use 'The Setup Machine' . In the end the creativity of the artist is key. Hope this answers your questions.
