  • I wish I had done a time lapse like that when I did my V8 to V10 swap!

  • why not drop a 351W in there or sumthing.. or an IDI

  • @xmodrock i didn't want to change anything else, just a straight forward swap. besides that truck has the granny 4 speed manual so don't really need anything more than a 300

  • @4x4Husky i suppose thats a good enough reason :-P i was just curious.. cause if im going through alot of work like taking out and engine i want something more

  • man you are dirty

  • I didn't think those inline 6 engines were capable of knocking. Maybe you didn't tow enough weight, the truck gets pissed when you are not using it as a truck.

  • Right now I've got a 76 f150 4wd with a 390 and a 77 f150 4wd w/ 351W. I want to put the 390 in the 77 and I think it will fit except I might have to change the motor mounts along with the perches. Can't tell till I get them both out and see if it fits. Found a lot of good info doing a google search.

  • I LOVE this song.

  • nice to have help and back up you have to teach to carry it on job nicely done men

  • my 1990 for f150 had a burnt valve on the #7 cylinder, so i changed it with the same sized motor from an 88 f150

  • my ford haves the same knock sound so we are going to change the engine too

  • good luck

  • idk, it's been knocking since I got it about a year and a half ago...and during that year and a half it just kept getting louder and worse by the day

  • @4x4Husky bearings... my jeep engine was like that.... main rod bearings will do that.

  • lol why did it get a knock in the engine
