it worked!! i figured out that i didn't follow your exact steps in importing the video into fxhome cus when i opened up fxhome i just hit blank timeline rather than hitting "select video" which is the way it worked for me.

no that's not true you can do almost everything the regular version can do but there is a little logo when you render it but it's not terribly big you can still see your movie...
