Thats cute, I love cockatoos even though they are loud, and I also like dashounds especialy the long haired ones they are always a lot of fun and usually laid back but stand their ground when you make them mad just like they were breed to do aganst badgers.
aw glad we are not the only mad house full of pets lol. we have 3 parrots a very old Rotweiller whose 14 we lost our Westy in Nov when he was 12. we have 2 cats one of which adopted us as we were feeding her because she was a stray n all skin and bone..she has now permanantly moved in lol...we also have a Guinea pig! In our house everything revolves around our pets...my daughter always jokes tht the birds etc eat better than we do because Im always sayin dnt eat tht its 4 the parrots lol.
LOL, yup. You have to have nerves of steel around my house, too, what with four parrots. But I think you guys have me beat in the noise department, though we are probably running about equal in the "craziness" department seeing as we are all parrot people! ;-)
Oh, and how could I forget my dog? He's the bossiest mutt on the planet. One of his many nicknames is Sargent Bark! The parrots think he's a pain in the neck, though they do throw him an occasional piece of toast or slice of apple in the morning. I should do a vid of the dog. He's professionally adorable.
Yeah, the dogs are forever foraging around the cages scooping up whatever the parrots throw out...LOL... Still waiting for that video of Sargent Bark!
We just love this video. Our birds and dog join in and insist on playing it over and over. The little dachie is so cute; he seems to know he's on camera and wants his buddy to keep up the howling.
YES THEY DO!!! Dachsie Teddi started howling when the answering machine comes on too now and drowns it out completely. As for drowning out Umbrella Cockatoo Nana, Teddi seems to be saying 'I CAN TOP THAT NOISE!' It's pretty hard to drown out HER squawking!!!
