Therefore, the church approves their use. There are many factors the couple ought to discuss with each other as well as their spiritual father to determine if they are indeed proceeding by God's will, and not for selfish reasons"

@christiskingofall I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I misuderstood you but I just want to point out that salvation is not only by grace or faith, for "Faith without works is dead" James 2:20...All of James chapter 2 actually discusses that faith and works go together hand in hand; James 2: 14 "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?" You are correct that we do need faith and God's grace of course, but works too

@touchthesky65 I was only quoting a verse, Ephesians 2:8 " For it is by grace ye have been saved, through faith, and this is not of your own, it is the GIFT of God, NOT by works so that no man may boast." The cause is faith, the effects are works. Works are but filthy rags in the face of God.

I am a Roman Catholic. My eye doctor is Egypttian, and a Catholic. His mother is a Catholic, and his father is a Copt. With all that is going on in Egypt you are in my prayers during my Rosary and Masses. I continue to pray to the martyrs during Christmas. This is a beautiful Liturgy! Please be safe the best you can. I am glad that I did a search on "coptic liturgy". May Jesus Christ keep you safe!

@Dynasonic51 Praying the rosary is completely against the word of God. Mary has not yet risen from the dead, she is not queen of heaven, and she is not co-mediator/redeemer. How dare you worship her as such! BTW, Mary was not a virgin when she died either, James and others are all from her womb after she gave birth to the LORD Jesus(Matt 13.55-57,can back me up on this)!My LORD and Saviour,is not a cracker,nor is he a glass of wine.John is a metaphor.I speak as one who takes the Word Literally.

@AirSparta the English equivalent is "Cyril." So in English the Apostles to the Slavs are called Sts Cyril and Methodius. I believe their feast day is Feb 14.
