@bonestorm99 oh dont get my wrong there your absolutely right, and this is still awesome music. it goes well with the whole futuristic setting and stuff. and the synthesizers and keyboards sound cool. it reminds me of the song 'angel and the gambler' but i just think i still prefer the stuff from GP legend as it was heavier and sounded cooler with the whole racing environment. i think this sort of music definately goes well with 90's anime shows and is awesome nonetheless.

@darkshredder95 Oh, that's because in GP legend, they simplified it a bit, so they weren't able to have the same futuristic sound as this game, so it ends up having it's own feel, even when it has the same songs.

This was an insane game for its time: you were racing on a tube, and the 60 FPS with the awesome fast metal music made it so fucking awesome. Plus, you could spin attack or check your enemies off the track or just blow them up. I remember this being an awesome game.

The music along with the course (silence) gave you a sense of speed. Of course blasting along the course at 1000+ KmH helps too

I know that. I've done it before, but I had to get rid of it to play something that was intentionally made for online gameplay. What I'M saying is that they should bring back the Epic 64 (we hardcore gamers call it that instead of its original name). And be specific, because I believe it's Project64k 1.4, you make it sound like the latest version (1.6) has online playability.
