Why the hell is the music accompanied by pictures of people wearing pink feather boas??? I think its a bit of an insult to the grandeur and beauty of the piece of music.
This is a visual story about creation, evolution, and destruction, and then resilience. It's not about representing the music in itself. I think those four words, creation, evolution, destruction and resilience are as powerful as the music. Sometimes unlikely events such as a boah erupt along the path of powerful things.
very good version usually this is done by some high school band which dont get me wrong some sound very good but not as good as this. not to mention when it does sound this good only the second part is played i commend you kitlars. personally though i prefer the first part that mirrors homeland by gustav holst : )
thanks soo much for this section of the piece!!!! :DD....this is my friend's absolute favorite part of the piece!! and i've been looking everywhere for this part to put in the video scrapbook we're making for her....b/c she's moving away soon :'(....
Anybody know what orchestra this is? Ironically, of all Holst's "planets" Jupiter has always been my favorite movement. A wonderful response, KitLars. Thank you so much for posting it.
Thankyou so much for your appreciation of my attempt to share how powerful this song is. I have always thought it should bring some sense of transition into greater and broader gifts, even in survival for the listener. So I enjoyed putting it into some type of image. Thanks agains!
look at jupiter and play this piece of music. if jupiter was a section of music it would BE this. with its powerful red eye and all of its glorious circulatory spledidness!!
3 people thought it was documentary
